I have the cutest Valentine craft I’m in the middle of working on right now.

I’ll give you a hint.

It involves shopping your yard.

Oh—and spray paint.

Don’t you love a post that starts with a paint product and free? Oh, good. Me, too. So I’m showing it to you next week.

But until then?

To tide you over I have some other Valentine project and gift ideas that I’ve put together for you like a beaded heart project just like this one. They are simple and easy and you can create them in the time it takes to watch an episode of The Real Housewives of anywhere.

Here are some easy last-minute Valentine gift ideas to take you into the weekend.

They are so cute you might even want to gift one to yourself. 🙂

This stamped silver spoon necklace.

It is so much easier than it looks.

Once you get your stamp on, here are a few more stamped silver projects.

This heart art work.

You can make it in an afternoon.

Wrap it with ribbon that says “I love you,” and deliver it to someone special.

This is a simple DIY for an afternoon.

You can personalize with a name or a quote or a monogram.

And then?

There’s this wooden arrow.

You could paint the name of someone special right in the middle and say this gift points the way to your heart.

And one more for the road

This beaded heart project makes a cute gift.

And it’s such an easy DIY.

You can see the DIY for the project here.

And in handmade news?

My brother made me this heart with a little bit of rust and a lot of love.

Here’s to a happy handmade holiday.

Happy Valentine’s Day to you. 🙂

PS If you are in love with love like me, this story will melt your heart.

I'm a mess, I'm a joyful mess .... sitting here crying like a coocoo bird while my heart has been stirred up for true LoVE ... I've just read "Letters from Box 54" !!! How fun are those letters to have and treasure on down thru the ages to come. Isn't it wonderful to know how our grandparents believed and dedicated themselves to everyday ordinary love & respect for one another while building a home and family, together. My heart has been blessed as I am sure yours is too ... have a wonderful day and thankyou for sharing. Jayne

I love all your great Valentines ideas. The story about the love letters is just precious. I still have all the cards my husband gave me back in 1978 when we were dating. This just motivates me to do something with them. After all they were written almost 43 years ago, so time to bring them out. Thanks always for being an inspiration.
