Random thoughts on a back-to-real-life Saturday morning:

1. We are heading home from the cruise. It’s been the vacation of a LIFETIME. I’m doing a complete round-up of all my best tips and my outfits and what I think you should visit and a tour of the boat and (at this point I feel like I need two posts—LOL).

Stay tuned for cruise overload.

2. We are starting to plan out the flower beds for spring planting. I’m so excited. We are adding new curved beds around the fence in the backyard. The birdhouse will be so happy.

3. Are you watching the Super Bowl? Cheering for one particular team? Since the Cowboys aren’t in the game, I’m here for the commercials and the half-time show.

4. If you are a blogger or creator and you want to increase your affiliate income? Did you know I wrote an e-book on affiliates and how they work and how you can increase your income?

Super Bowl - 49ers all the way!! That's my hometown! March Madness - That goes to the hubs alma mater.....Duke! Loved the links about how hobbies are good for you and the habits of happy people. I, too, am planning my garden while the weather at 7000' in the Rockies is decidedly not garden friendly - a foot of snow is expected. Then I'll do the next row on my temperature blanket. All the while I'll be humming my 80's playlist. Have a great day Kari, and thanks for starting my day off with a smile!

I can't wait to see picture's and hear some stories. I have been thinking about the garden and planning new plants this week, can't wait.

I can’t wait to hear all the details and what you wore. We have been thinking of going on a cruise. Happy return to your beautiful home

Welcome home. I'm sure you are bubbling over with things to share. :) However, you should have been relaxing, not working on Thistlekeeping while you were gone .... but I so enjoy reading it every week. I'm enjoying seeing wood make a comeback (I like a mixture of wood and painted surfaces) and the refreshing of the dresser had great information. I may make a flower cone for myself. So pretty. Lots of eye candy again today.

I'm in St. Louis and we don't have a football team so I happily root for the Chiefs. They are a class act (witness game against Ravens).

These Thistlekeeping Posts are the best, especially on a dismal rainy day. It's fun and a joy to read, thanks and waiting to hear about your cruise.

KariAnne- I’m on a cruise now for 12 days! My 31st cruise- but I’d LOVE to know all your tips/tricks for packing/cabin storage etc. I’m sure you have many now that you’ve cruised several times! What to take/what to leave home next time! I know you had a great time and made so many new friends! Happy spring now! And Go Chiefs! But I’m a basketball fan! Hubby played college ball/coached and I was a cheerleader! 🏀⛹️‍♀️⛹️‍♂️⛹️

I'll admit that I'm not a computer whiz. That being said, I couldn't see so much of the content due to the overpowering ads. I couldn't even see the house because of a HUGE ad for Architecural Digest. Someone please help a senior citizen out. What do I do?

Ann, I’m so sorry! I can’t help with other sites like the links you mentioned—but I’ve taken all the ads off the center of the blog. There’s a video ad at the top and a video ad at the bottom! If you just click the X at the top left corner of each ad you can read the post relatively ad free! Hope this helps! happy day, karianne
