Random thoughts on a cloudy chilly Saturday morning:

1. I made the cutest wreath with these eggs. I linked it at the end of the post.

2. My all-time-one-of-a-kind-must-have-won’t believe the price leggings are restocked.

You can see them here.

3. We went to Waco yesterday to watch the SING performance at Waco. The twins were dressed up in Kentucky Derby dresses with the sweetest smiles and the cutest fascinators. They danced their hearts out on that Waco Hall stage.

I’ve never seen cuter Kentucky Derby attendees in my entire life.

(updated to add: THEY WON SING!!!!!)

2. I had a Pokeno party at the house this week.

Have you ever played Pokeno before? It’s so much fun.

It’s just like Bingo with cards.

3. It was an amazing week on the blog. We talked about:

4. And in random show news–has anyone else watched Full Swing on Netflix? It’s a golf documentary. My husband is all about golf and I am all about my husband so I’m watching it with him.

I don’t even really like golf and I like the show. The stories about the players are really good.

And now?

My husband and I were just talking about how to keep avocado from turning brown earlier this week--thanks for the link! Your wreath turned out cute. I love the hand painted eggs that Lucy makes every year--she's so darn talented. The Nantucket summer home is lovely--I'm digging the light interiors with the dark furniture contrast lately. It looks fresh and grounded all at the same time. Happy Saturday!

Lovely, fun, joyous articles, i smile at the pics in these stories, the homes were done in blue and white. Imagine that. Your wreath is cute. I played Pokeno years ago. But havent in years. Have a great Saturday

Well, watching her paint eggs (and listening to the soft music) sure was satisfying! She makes it look easy enough for me to want to try it--although my version would probably end up as a Pinterest fail! :-)

GREAT thistles this week, KA!!! WOW! First off - awesome wreath and is soooo perfect on your cute back door. Love the buffalo check plaid - it's great. Second - if only I could paint like Lucy. Her Easter eggs are always one of my fav things and I have admired her work for years. IF ONLY!!! The "summer home" tour is jaw-dropping stunning. And the home office with her ikiagai fresco thing - wow. That is one of the dreamiest perfect home offices I have ever seen. (I look around the home office I share with hubs and try not to frown.) Thx for the great reads. I am so impressed!! oh PS - this year both my nieces at UK in Lexington are doing Greek Sing. Isn't it fun?? Only one did last year. It was such a treat. Can't wait to go to this one, too, with both of them in it. Last year older sis couldn't because she was studying abroad in Italy. (So it will be doubly fun this time.) Glad you enjoyed your twins being awesome, per usual. It is a great philanthropy to be involved in. Well done, twins! ♥♥

Hi, I hope you don’t publish this🙀 I’m all about everything you show us and I typically buy lots of your recommendations. I bought the multi pink tulip wreath from Amazon, it took a while to get her but GORGEOUS!! Just want to let you know it’s a hot mess though. I stupidly threw away the Amazon packaging bc I was so trilled to see it is really as pretty as it shows on your door. It’s leaving a trail of straw-like ? backing all over. Even beneath it on the door. I tried to tie a ribbon to hang it (also no hanger thing on back) and I have a trail from the kitchen to my craft room. I wonder if I can cover the back with material? My friend and I went to your home for Leslie’s book signing. I live in Dallas. Oh well, thank you for your fun posts- you are precious (like those girls of yours )!
