For my birthday this year, these two cuties called me up and asked me what I wanted.
I told them my heart was so full already.
I have so many blessings.
They have already given me so many gifts.
I know it sounds a little sappy, but it is the truest of the true. They make me laugh until I snort. They call me and tell me stories that sound like they danced out of the pages of a really good book. They inspire me with how much they wake up every day and try to make a difference in a world that is overwhelming sometimes. They make me so proud and happy and full of joy to be their mother.
See what I mean?
My gift cup is already running over.
I woke up on my birthday morning to a text that said this.
Before I tell you the text I need to give you a little background so this entire story makes sense.
You see. I LOVE Wordle.
Have you ever played it before? It’s a game where you are given five spaces in six rows and you have to guess the word. You have six guesses to get the word and if you guess a letter correctly and it’s in the right place than the letter will turn green. If you guess the letter correctly, but it’s not in the right place the letter will be yellow.
Six guesses is all you get to win your Wordle game.
If you’ve never played before, here’s today’s Wordle.
I started playing Wordle every day.
And then I wanted even more of a challenge, so I started playing Quordle which is four Wordles all at the same time.
You can see Quordle here.
And then I wanted EVEN MORE of a challenge, so I started playing Octordle which is EIGHT Worldes all at the same time. I love it. Every day there’s a new puzzle and every day my brain works overtime to solve it.
You can see Octordle here.
Can you tell I never met a word game I didn’t like?
Which leads me to my birthday text.
On my birthday I got a text from the twins. It had a link to a Notes page that read:
“Here is a combination of 15 Wordles that are made up of words that we think represent you! We love you! Happy Birthday.”
The twins made me my VERY OWN WORDLES.
I had no idea such a thing was even possible.
And there are FIFTEEN of them—all words that they think describe me (I’ve only done three of them and so far all the words are good).
Want to see the words?
Here’s the first one.
Don’t you love the confidence of my guesses?
The first five-letter word.
Here’s the next word from my list of Wordles.
I told the twins it was longer than five letters.
They told me they ran out of five-letter words and discovered you could create any word no matter how long it is.
This would make such an amazing gift for someone.
A compliment from the giver every day for fifteen days.
Does a birthday get any better than that?
Here is the website if you want to create your own Wordle for your own Wordle gift.
