Random thoughts on an amazingly sunny and optimistic Saturday morning:
1. I went to a football game last night. Y’ALL. A FOOTBALL GAME. Everyone was socially distanced and wore masks and we sat at the very top of a giant stadium all by ourselves to watch the twins down on the field in their cheer and drill team uniforms.
And it was amazing.
I almost started crying from the sheer joy of it.
2. I am obsessed with folding my clothes now that I found this contraption. It is SO addicting. You just fold the sides and the t-shirt looks like it stepped off the shelf of the Gap. If you’ve never opened up your drawer and seen a pile of perfectly folded t-shirts, you have never lived.
3. In period drama news, we are in the middle of Bolivar right now on Netflix. It’s amazing history with Spanish subtitles.
4. It was an amazing week on the blog. We all cheered Zack on as he built his bench and I revealed the Sherwin-Williams Color of the Year and we all shopped the room (and this amazing rug) together.
5. I am just so happy right now. Nothing special. I think it’s because there was football last night and I woke up and there was sunshine.
So today?
I have EXTRA joy.
Just in case you needed some.
Leave me a comment or send me an e-mail and let me pour a little joy into YOU.

Thanks so much for sharing my wreath. I appreciate more than you know! Cindy
Before you even mentioned Zach, I knew there was a project with his name on it. And more than one project, can't he do distance learning from home so his down town could be used for the common good???
Happy Saturday morning! I woke up with joy this morning too!!!! For me it was because we sat outside last night around a fire pit with our best friends! It was a gorgeous night here in the northeast- truly fall like! Have a wonderful weekend! :)
I love this weekly treasure in my inbox every Saturday.
Happy Saturday back! Glad the kids go the football game. Our high school had to cancel at the last minute due to Covid cases...as did Notre Dame (we are fans!) Yuck and Yuck. Great post and ideas today as always!
Happy Saturday! Your joy is contagious! The webinar this week gave me an extra dose! I love learning! It feels like Summer here today, but it’s gorgeous!
Wow, so much to share today and I cannot wait to do something productive.
KariAnne, I am convinced that your mission/purpose in life is bringing joy to the world. Your infectious joy and happiness which radiates thru your words and your voice on the zoom calls is a blessing to so many. I've followed you for years, and years and years and I have always left here feeling better than when I came, even on days I did not think I needed a "pick me up". Thank you for being you... a bright spirit and light on the best days and in these dark times! Cannot wait to go check out all of the links, my favorite post!
I have one of those folding things also and I LOVE it. When I travel it is the first thing that goes into my luggage. You go girl and keep that folding up. 😊
Attending a live game- so fun!! Craving "normal" outings like that so much. I need to check out Bolivar!
Thanks so much for the love on my dresser, Karianne! It is much appreciated! So glad you got to enjoy a real live football game! What a blessing! XOXO
Christy, your dresser was my favorite of this week's lineup! Gorgeous! And KariAnne, my college roommate and her son are vacationing in my town this weekend. I spent the day with them (of course we were careful!) and I'm feeling the joy as well. Happy Saturday.
Always look forward to your Saturday post my friend. Love all the great shares, reads, and adventures this brings. Thank you for sharing.
Gah! That dresser makeover with the transfer??!! Heart eyes emoji!!! xoxo
Thank you, there is so, so much to see and pick from, i loved that dresser. You have a wonderful week.
Zack, could you please build that bookshelf for your Mama? I think she might make you those homemade sticky buns that look amazing! ;) Thanks for all the inspiration this weekend, KariAnne! I LOVE that dresser transfer! I took notes on that one! Also, I signed up for the free flower course. Just the videos along are so lovely and inspirational. Thank you! I am so glad you got to go to a football game! Oh, these simple pleasures we have learned not to take for granted! Happy fall, friend!
What a fun Friday night! Proud mama watching her girls on the field. I sure do miss our Friday Night Lights. Tell those sweet twins I adore their book and ordered copies for my three grand-nieces ... two are twins! We'll see if I can hold off until Christmas or I breakdown and give them to the girls now! Absolutely adore your Saturday rounds ups ... nothing got done today at my house as I poured over each link. Citrine Living's fall living room ... oh my gosh! xo
Oh how I appreciate your blog so much KariAnne!!!
