Random thoughts on a cold almost spring morning with a hint of sunshine:
1. Have you ever heard the song from Ben Rector called “Extraordinary Magic”?
The words y’all. The words.
You can see the song here.
2. We are filming some videos today for the twins’ new book that releases this week. I can’t WAIT for you to see it. If you haven’t ordered it yet—you can get it here.
3. Have any of y’all ordered anything from Marks and Spencer? It’s a clothing brand from the UK and it’s incredible. It’s such a good value so many fun options for spring. Someone else recommended it to me and my order just got here. I was a little worried because I think it ships from the UK—but the shipping was free and it got here within four days. I’m actually wearing one of the tops I ordered right now to an Upward basketball game right now.
4. It was a fun week on the blog. We talked about before and after master bedrooms and how to choose a lamp shade and why rewritten endings are even better and made DIY dropcloth carrots.
And now?
Are you ready?
Are you set?
Here are some of my favorite ideas and inspiration I found around the internet this week.
We are working on the closet in Westleigh’s room and this closet totally inspired me.
It’s made from an existing IKEA Billy bookcases.
You can see all the details and how they built it in here.
One of the most challenging things for me about home tours when I look at houses online is figuring out how one room flows into the other.
This house tour is called a “house flow” tour so you can see how one room flows into the other.
I know that this planter looks like concrete or stone.
But it’s not. It’s a special painting technique.
You can see the entire DIY here.
