Random thoughts on a Saturday morning:

1. Y’ALL. Y’ALL. Y’AAAAAAALLLLLLL. The party yesterday was amazing. Truly. Remember this story? Remember how the fancy ladies came over to plan out a party at my house and the stink that shut down a thousand noses showed up?

46 of them came back.

Yesterday.

And we had the yummiest food that I didn’t fix and the house was decorated for fall and everyone took a tour and I gave a little talk and told stories about mirrors and Christmas lights and pancakes.

And the best part?

THE STINK WAS GONE.

2. It was an amazing week on the blog. We discussed monogram projects and what I do every day and how to make a fall garland and the back porch fall decor.

3. I’m going to be on the news in Dallas this week. I’ll be on our NBC affiliate, KXAS-TV on Friday talking all things decorating and how I’m speaking at the Pinner’s Conference in Arlington.

4. We are headed to Waco. Yes. We are going to beautiful wonderful Waco today with a caravan of people to head to the Baylor football game.

5. Someone with twinkling eyes just brought me coffee. Does life get any better?

Sounds like a great weekend. I love when you tell the blog where you will be. Please have the Dallas station show your books, too! Spread the sunshine!

Good morning! I have been gardening this morning, and when I came in for a break and a second cup of coffee, there was Thistlekeeping waiting for me. I call that great timing! So happy to hear that your party went well. I can only imagine the laughter and joy. Have an amazing weekend, KariAnne!

Can Navy Hale Benjamin Moore be used with Sea Salt in a bathroom? Navy Hale being an old vanity. Just wondering and had to write it down first before I forget the names. LOL Love reading your Thistlekeeping each week - brings me such pleasure. I know you see color better than I do and I know Sea Salt can be green or gray. This is in bathroom without any windows and it a typical small one. Tub, toilet and vanity. Thanks for any help you can give me or suggest!

Well, I just looked back and I had the first paint backwards. It is Hale Navy not Navy Hale. Well, when you are 78 years old your mind doesn't work the same. LOL

I read your posts every day and have used some of your ideas in my own home. Thank you for so many lovely ideas. But I must confess that I never saw a pumpkin that I liked until I saw your white one, it is beautiful! I don't think your have shown it before, is it new? I would like to have one just like yours. Can you tell me where you got it? Do you think I can find one now?

You and your red lipstick are going to be extra brilliant ! I wish I could see it; but for some reason, Pennsylvania doesn’t carry local Texas news. How rude!! :)
