Random thoughts on a Saturday morning.

1.  I kind of feel like I’m cheating on fall.  I’m burning a pine scented candle this morning.

2.  Have you ever noticed that rooms in your house have a better time of day?  Morning is the best time for my dining room, but my kitchen doesn’t really get going until afternoon.

3.  Chapel Market was incredible.  I sold out of almost everything.  I did have a few things left and I just listed them over on my Painted Fox Collection.  You can check it out here.  Everything on the site is on sale, too.  Here are the details on the sale and there’s free shipping on everything.

4.  If you are on Instagram, I just found the prettiest new farmhouse feed to follow.  You can see it here.

5.  In exciting news, when I was speaking in Nebraska this week, one of the attendees told me when I talked it was as if I was ten feet tall.  I’ve been wearing heels my whole life to look taller.

Who knew all I had to do was just tell stories? 🙂

I’ve seen dozens of beautiful fall table displays out there.

But this is one of my favorites.

You can see all the details here.

Here’s another great idea to stretch your rug budget, too.

The Farm Feed that you found to follow is from my neck of the woods. She has a yearly sale over in Spokane WA every year and my daughters and I try to make it. Found some neat treasures this last sale.

I know I've said it a million times before but I just love Random Saturdays! Agree that the table scape in Rooms for Rent is so pretty but that linen table cloth is what really caught my eye -- beautiful! I love linen anything just about as much as milk glass. So glad that things went so well with your trip to Chapel Market! Heels? Sadly, heels and I parted ways years ago. It was a sad goodbye. (I'm only 5'1") But your stories? They do make you ten feet tall :-) Love your stories! Keep telling them and wear those heels as long as you can, girlfriend!!

I guess I too am cheating on Fall. I sprayed a Christmas Tree scented room spray after my husband over cooked bacon this morning. After the scent fades it will be back to Apple, Pear and Pumpkin for me!! Thanks for posting. Your home is to die for gorgeous. Enjoy your weekend.

Awwww, I'll bet you do seem larger than life when you are speaking, KariAnne...it's probably because you have an aura of joy around you! One day, I hope to get to see you speak for myself! That post about not being afraid of decorating mistakes was made for me, I think. It's thinking about the possible mistakes I could make that keep me from trying new things. I need to be more fearless and realise that mistakes can be fixed! I LOVE the green in the kitchen that Joanna made over...and that antique door with the delicious carving in it is to die for! And those MMS chairs, too...swit swoo...I am officially in love! Happy Sunday, friend!

We enjoyed your talk in Nebraska so much! I went away from it wishing that I could get to know you better, and knowing that, if I did, we would be great friends! You are such an "energy giver" that it was a pleasure to meet you!
