I spent yesterday baking with my daughter.

You know.

The daughter and her twin sister who are about to pack their bags and their new rugs and their new dorm essentials and head off to college.

Taking a piece of my heart with them.

I’ve spent the last two months trying to squeeze every minute out of every day and finding the joy in the most ordinary of things like baking the yummiest recipe that was passed down to us from an incredible baker and family friend.

Cream Cheese Nutty Bars.

After you make them? Don’t blink because they will be gone.

And the best part?

Baking yummy recipes like this got even easier.

All thanks to my Walmart+ membership.

Here’s what baking with one of my very favorite people looks like.

Recipe for a LO-CALORIE BANANA PUDDING CAKE. I have lost weight, inspired by you, and like this simple recipe. (I am gluten intolerant, so I use the gluten-free yellow cake mix from Aldi's.)
