This weekend coming up is a slow weekend.

It’s full of football and reading books and planning out my Christmas lists and going yard saling and making extra phone calls to my mom.

And I’m here for all of it.

Truth?

I was so excited I made soup.

I know, right?

Doesn’t soup sound like the perfect meal for a weekend like that?

I ordered all the supplies online with Walmart and they showed up at the door and everything was in the crockpot in less than 10 minutes.

If you need a little soup in your life? Here’s the easiest, yummiest crock pot broccoli cheese soup for you.

I know you’ve heard this from me so many times before, but I can tell you how much I LOVE Walmart delivery. I actually used it three times in the last week. It just saves me so much money and makes life a zillion times easier.

For example, when I was all soup-inspired this week, I pulled out the recipe, clicked to add everything to my cart. Then I clicked the time and it showed up that afternoon. And everything is so affordable, too. I’ve been using Walmart brands for years and the quality is amazing on things I use every day and new and trending items too. Walmart’s goal is to keep prices low every day so a better life is always within reach.

If you haven’t used Walmart delivery yet–new customers can use promo code TRIPLE10 to save $10 off their first three pickup or delivery orders. $50 min. Restrictions & fees apply.

And all those yummy items I had delivered?

They turned into the yummiest soup.

Are you able to eat this on your diet? Do you know how many calories it is per bowl? I’m in the mood for soup and this sounds good.

With my new program---NOOM--this is in the yellow foods category. You can eat it---you just have to plan the day around it! Does that make sense? I LOVE broccoli cheese soup and it's such a treat for me! What NOOM teaches is that there are no "bad" foods. Everything in moderation. :) I’m trying to train my brain to eat in different ways. :) Just a little of a treat now ant then!

Looks fabulous - and easy! You didn't link that orange fruit and vegetable smoothie, but I Googled it, and it looks really good!

It's amazing! Such a great option for breakfast! It's a yellow food on NOOM too! You can see the link if you click on the arrow!

Sounds Great, but I cook for only one. Is there an easy way to do the math? I have seen recipes that have a choice of "for how many"?

Oh WOW!! I love you Kari Anne, but I really would be pleased if you would study the ingredients in this soup! There is SO much BAD fat in there, the sodium, the EMPTY calories, all of these things really make it hard to keep the weight off... I do not want to hurt your feelings at all, but this recipe concerns me for your health or anyone else!!

Terry...I totally agree with you...Velveeta is THE WORSE in the whole world....only the broccoli florets and water are good for you....certainly there is a better version of this..it looks delicious but I try to keep all these unhealthy and inflammatory and bad fats out of our house!

I agree with others that this soup is simply not healthy. There are recipes all over the internet for broccoli cheese soup but seriously, this is a no brainer! Salute onion, mushroom, celery (chopped quite finely. Make a roux (1 Tsp butter +1 TBSP flour, + 1 cup stock, wayer, milk or cream will equal 1 cup of roux. Scale up according ly. You could proceed with Kelli an new recipe from there.

I am happy that your delivery service with Walmart is great. I ordered 12 bed pillows for charity (donation to Kentucky). It was promised two days ago, and I still have not received it. Poor service. I can't find out any information that is satisfactory to me. My daughter ordered a rug for my granddaughter's dorm room, and it never arrived. I ordered the same rug, and it was delivered. We live a mile apart. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Oh my I don’t know what is more fun to read! 😘 Now i forgot what i was going to say! 🙃 Shoot! Well it looks yummy but I save my velveeta for a can of Rotel 🙃 Oh The Velveeta price at Walmart is $2 less than Kroger. A future blog post might be how to whittle down the calories. I started using that cooking creamer .., it’s now whip cream but it’s like 1/21/2 but for soups. It has 2 ingredients and i love it in cream based. soups! Love you friend!

This soup looks so good! I printed off the recipe and it's one I'm making this weekend! I love using a crock pot for meals! I'm not a big Walmart shopper but you sure seem to get good deals! I need to start! Thanks for the recipe! Have a great weekend!

Hi! Can't wait to try this! But I do have a question: what size is your Crockpot? I am just trying to figure out which one of mine to use -- I don't want to drag the HUGE one out if I don't have to! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Looks like a yummy recipe! I’m going to make it! People need to worry about themselves and leave your diet alone! I think you are beautiful and Noom is a great program! My 87 year old mom will love this! We buy Panera cheese broccoli soup all the time!

We could eat this soup for a week and still have money left over compared to what Panera charges for a bowl or cup of soup. Thank you. Healthwise, we better not eat it for a week though. Freezing part of it is a wonderful idea for a day when you have been too busy to make dinner from scratch. Thanks again.
