I love this cactus heart.

(total aside: this is a real, actual cactus that’s shaped like a heart. I don’t know how they do it. I just know it’s cute and cactusy.)

Almost as much as I love my mother.

And my mother-in-law.

And my sweet, sweet sister-in-law.

I was trying to think of a way to treat them. I wanted to show them how special they are to me. So I thought of a basket. Then I thought of a plate of cookies. Then I thought of a handmade card.

And then?

I thought of something even cuter.

Something that looked like this.

A Valentine’s Day industrial farmhouse tiered tray.

It’s a gift within a gift.

It’s full of some of my favorite things to celebrate Valentine’s Day and then? When the hearts and the flowers and the month of February are over? The tiered tray can be used over and over and over again. I made one for my mother-in-law and one for my mother and then I made one using a rectangular serving tray for my sister-in-law.

But what did I put in the trays?

What are some of my favorite things?

Let’s unpack it.

(total aside: I made an entire Reel on Instagram with a video of how I put this together. You can see it here.)

On the top shelf of the tiered tray?

I added this diffuser that works without any electricity. It has a rope that wicks the essential oil up through the top of the diffuser. You can also sprinkle oil onto the ceramic flower on top.

You can see the flower diffuser here.

Then I added in a set of my favorite scents of essential oils from Better Homes and Gardens.

Lemon and Lavender and Peppermint.

It’s the perfect group of scents for freshness this spring. You can see the trio here.

I also added this classic and super versatile cream and sugar set.

The creamer has a tiny bouquet of Valentine’s Day flowers in it. The sugar container comes with the cutest tiny spoon. I have this set, too, and I use it all the time.

You can see the set with its wooden tray holder here.

On the bottom tier, I added this heart cactus that I fell in love with.

I found them at my local Walmart store in the gardening section. They came in these adorable marbleized containers in different colors. They had red and pink and orange.

The heart cactus was under $7.00 and would make a cute gift all by itself.

I also found these kitchen towels at my local Walmart in the kitchen section.

They came in a set of four with this red and white dotted towel, a white and red dotted towel, a plain red towel and a red plaid towel.

I wrapped them up and tied them with a buffalo check bow.

I also included this coffee cup set that looks like high-end pottery.

The stoneware is so pretty and they are a generous size which makes them perfect for coffee on Valentine’s Day morning.

You can see them here.

I added my favorite candles to each of the trays.

Red Lava Citrus is my hands-down all-time favorite (you may have heard me mention it 5,000 times before). It’s so long-burning and smells amazing. I added that to my mother-in-law’s tray.

You can see it here.

Warm Spring Sunshine is my new favorite. It smells so fresh and springy and different from most of the other candle scents from the holidays. I added that to my mother’s tray.

You can see it here.

Salted Coconut Mahogany is such a rich, warm scent that’s perfect for this time of year. I added that to my sister-in-law’s tray.

You can see it here.

I finished off the trays with a white square bowl loaded down with strawberries. I wrapped the strawberries in plastic wrap and tied a buffalo check bow on the top with a tag and loaded the trays up in the car and delivered them.

Y’all.

It was SO MUCH FUN.

I giggled all the way up to the door.

Seriously.

I wish you could have seen the look on their faces when the trays showed up at the door. They stared at the tray and then they stared back and me in complete and utter surprise and then broke into smiles that would light up a room.

That was my Valentine’s Day present.

One of my favorite I’ve ever gotten.

Getting to bring a little joy to three of the most amazing women in my life.

Life couldn’t be any sweeter. 🙂

How can I find the latest edition of "What I Bought Wednesday"? I've tried going to Youtube and entering the title but I can't ever find the current ones. The only way I ever seem to get to it is if you list it in your blog, then I can click and it takes me right to it. I try to keep track of the edition number and look that way but it won't come up. Help Please, I love that feature of your daily blog.
