Spring Decor

Whatever happened to food just being what it is?

Have you noticed that food is evolving?

What is going on?

Hamburgers are becoming tacos.

Cookies are becoming banana splits.

Chips are becoming dill pickles.

Tacos are becoming chicken sandwiches.

And chips are becoming dill pickles.

I miss the days when a cookie was just known for its chocolate chips. 🙂

Gee I must have missed the boat somewhere! I'm totally confused (which is easy to do) but pickles and chips and tacos -- they're not what they are?? So if I order something I'm not going to get what I ordered? Do I need a new dictionary to help me keep up? If I order a dill taco chip split hamburger banana, what will I get? :-( Have a great weekend!!

Hi KariAnne I guess food companies have gotten on the "re-purposing" bandwagon-lol. Oh, my that kitchen in your link is just gorgeous. I love white kitchens. I just got Brooke's book and I'm loving it. I've been following the Patina Farm build/renovation for a while now and it's pretty darn spectacular. Love all your Saturday "randomness" and I'm especially happy that you also love hyacinth bulbs. Happy weekend!

Where did you find the tan grass under the eggs? I have looked but can find only green that looks really artificial.

Your blog is beautiful and bright and you are so witty! I guess everything .. food included... sounds better when we jazz it up with fancy words! My neighbor lady posts her evening meal on face book every evening and can make mac & cheese sound exotic! lol! I hope you have a great week! Smiles!
