Random thoughts on a sunny Saturday morning:

1. Happy Easter.

Everyone is in town and we are having a party tonight and church and a celebration tomorrow.

2. The set of cooling hotel pillows that I have on every bed in this house is back on sale for 73% off right now. You can see them here.

2. Guess what? My beloved Dipladenias are back in town. We went to Lowe’s last night and there were rows and rows of them so we bought them and loaded them into the car to fill the planters again.

I almost did a cartwheel right there in the center aisle.

3. What is your favorite thing to buy at Trader Joe’s? I usually just go for the flowers. But a couple of weeks ago I started grocery shopping there. I found the yummiest green chile chicken that is spicy and so good.

4. It was an awesome week on the blog. We talked about:

5. Has anyone watched The Restaurant yet on Amazon Prime? I think it has sub-titles—but someone recommended it to me as the next Downton Abbey.

6. I’m so excited. Westleigh got a fun internship this summer. She’s going to be working at an event planner in Waco that plans corporate events as well as weddings.

And now?

So many fun finds this week.

A delicate arrangement of pastel roses and fragrant lilacs nestled amongst lush greenery and ornamental leaves, creating an elegant centerpiece.

I shared a cabbage as a vase in another post.

But this cabbage vase display?

It’s next level.

Here are this and 14 other ideas for an Easter or spring table.

This beautiful bird’s egg nest wreath is so sweet.

And you can DIY it.

An elegant easter vignette featuring a ceramic bunny with a pink ribbon around its neck, beside a nest filled with pastel-colored easter eggs, all beautifully arranged in front of a large, ornate oval platter with embossed floral details.

I know Easter is only a week away, but these eggs are so easy to make.

Westleigh's job sounds so fun. My favorite thing at Trader Joes is the condiment section with all the interesting sauces to try. TJ's is not close, so the flowers wouldn't be that practical trying to get home or that would be my favorite. There's those snickerdoodles again...yum. Our church recently had a contest and I was surprised how many different looking/tasting snickerdoodles you could get. I don't eat gluten, but my husband said there were definetly some tastier than others. Happy Easter. He is risen!

Thanks for the weekly wrap up. Excellent ❤️ We have been Trader Joe’s shoppers for 40-50 years. We always get the frozen garlic and ginger. It comes in little cubes that equals one clove garlic and 1/2 teaspoons of ginger. It saves us so much time. We also love the enchilada sauce, seasonal bakery items, frozen birds nests, frozen won tons, frozen Tarte aux Champignons, Calabrian chili sauce, vanilla paste (Mexican and regular), spices (we just bought saffron for a 1/4 of grocery prices) and so much more. Lots of favorites are seasonal. Those are so great! Check out their soaps and lotions (autumn my favorite). Being California born and raised we like spicy food- due to my health we are in Massachusetts. Spicy food so not Massachusetts. So we cook at home. Trader Joe’s is 22 miles from our home. We plan those trips!

Happy Easter! My favorite item from Trader Joe's is the Trader Joe's Chevre Fine Herb Creamy Fresh Goat Cheese. It is SOOO good on crackers! It tops their list of cheeses on their annual Customer Choice Awards winners for this year. https://www.traderjoes.com/home/discover/stories/15th-annual-customer-choice-winners

P.S. Even though I think their goat cheese in general topped Trader Joe's Customer Choice Awards list, my favorite is the Fine Herb goat cheese. Make sure you try that one and not just the plain goat cheese. :)

Hey Karianne, Trader Joes has great Dairy products, the butter is great for baking. Also was wondering if you know of a good place to donate old pillows that are still in great shape.. I hate to trash perfectly good, barely used pillows. Thanks, love your blog!
