Random thoughts on a Saturday morning:
1. My son told me yesterday that he had no idea who Diane Sawyer was. I almost cried.
2. My mother just gave me my grandmother’s crystal chandelier. It’s dusty and a little crooked and a few of the crystals need to be replaced–but I’ve never seen anything so beautiful.
3. I went to a wedding reception last night with the most embarrassing toes you’ve ever seen. I think they forgot to RSVP.
4. I’ve discovered I love, love, LOVE doing Facebook Lives. I had no idea they are so much fun. I have one every Friday morning with the launch team for the book and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard in all my life. I think I might do one for everyone else this week on a Thursday—kind of a decorating question Q & A. If you have any decorating questions leave them in the comments and I’ll try to answer them this Thursday after we all recover from the Fourth of July.
If you have any decorating questions leave them in the comments and I’ll try to answer them on the Facebook Live.

And then there’s this. Every single thing is so perfect about this post. The table. The styling. I want this table to come and live at my house.
And one more for the road.

Show us the chandelier!
So many good ideas this week! I'm gonna jump on that planner as soon as I can narrow down all those beautiful choices! And yes, I have to see that amazing chandelier. I can see it in my head already!
Hi!! I got in late to your video but I was able to watch all of it. You are so adorable!! And so is Denton. You should have asked if he knew Megan Kelly -- she is in the news more. I really like the Q and A with Denton the investigative reporter! Happy Saturday to you and I'm sure your toes will remember the next time they're invited to a wedding. 😊
Great decorating ideas. Have a god week end. HAPPY JULY 4th Marilyn
You wrote about your inherited chandelier, can we see some pictures. We have just returned Downunder after our visit to some cities in the USA. In New Orleans I saw the most amazing chandelier at a restaurant called "Hermes". If you ever get down that way check it out. We also visited Charleston long long time on wish list, the houses.were out of this world. Thanks for sharing and keeping our minds on craft. After reading your blog it makes me want to start again. Thanks Larain
Great inspiration! We are doing our farmhouse porch makeover, so I was in the market for some porch eye candy. :)
My head is exploding! That planner and your zinnias. can't wait to see the Chandy! I know it has been placed in good hands.
Did I miss the Q&A? If not, I have a question for it: Is a navy sofa (sectional) too much of a color commitment? Most of my home is neutral, but I've been smitten with some navy blue sofas on pinterest. Your thoughts, please?
