I’m a Hallmark movie kind of girl.

Happy endings with rainbows and balloons and doves floating by in the sky.

But yesterday I went to see King Kong.

Yikes.

There were giant lizards with scary mouths and pointed teeth and a foggy bone grave yard and spiders that ate people and an octopus that wrapped its tentacles around anything that moved in the water.

And I smiled.

And acted like it was the greatest movie I’d ever seen.

Because I’m married to the cutest pair of twinkling brown eyes who built a table and made over-sized signs and created an over-sized checker board and cleaned the back deck and replaced all the batteries in the smoke detectors when the house sprang forward….

….and he thinks that giant gorillas are the best thing since sliced bread.

The things we do for love. 🙂

Love anything Magnolia.

Especially this display.

And this trip to the silos.

Happy spring.

Love the tour of this house.

Oh, wow, my hubby just commented yesterday on my book stash! I only buy books I think I will love; Therefore, I don't want to release them into that big world! They could end up in a waste basket, a dusty corner or a hungry dog's mouth!! No....I can't do that to Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Maeve Binchy, Daisy Goodwin, or Julian Fellowes!! Instead, I will declutter the stacks Of hundreds of gorgeous magazines stacked in hiding places! Decisions.....?

My hubby works part time at Universal Studios-Orlando at the Reign of Kong attraction!!!! He absolutely loves working and is a total people-person so this retirement "job" is perfect for him. We were at the park yesterday and enjoyed another ride on Reign of Kong. It's awesome. ;) ;) ;)
