I’m a Hallmark movie kind of girl.
Happy endings with rainbows and balloons and doves floating by in the sky.
But yesterday I went to see King Kong.
Yikes.
There were giant lizards with scary mouths and pointed teeth and a foggy bone grave yard and spiders that ate people and an octopus that wrapped its tentacles around anything that moved in the water.
And I smiled.
And acted like it was the greatest movie I’d ever seen.
Because I’m married to the cutest pair of twinkling brown eyes who built a table and made over-sized signs and created an over-sized checker board and cleaned the back deck and replaced all the batteries in the smoke detectors when the house sprang forward….
….and he thinks that giant gorillas are the best thing since sliced bread.
The things we do for love. 🙂
Love anything Magnolia.
Especially this display.
Happy spring.
Love the tour of this house.

And one more for the road.

Happy Random Saturday to you. 🙂
I would love it if you would do some she shed decor -i know you can create something cute, industrial but shabby too
Love your Saturday wrap ups. The Yorkie love story makes me tear up every time! We have 6 rescue doggies all with stories. Have a good weekend!
Your home says "cozy" much more than Suzanne Kasler, in my opinion.
Oh, wow, my hubby just commented yesterday on my book stash! I only buy books I think I will love; Therefore, I don't want to release them into that big world! They could end up in a waste basket, a dusty corner or a hungry dog's mouth!! No....I can't do that to Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Maeve Binchy, Daisy Goodwin, or Julian Fellowes!! Instead, I will declutter the stacks Of hundreds of gorgeous magazines stacked in hiding places! Decisions.....?
My hubby works part time at Universal Studios-Orlando at the Reign of Kong attraction!!!! He absolutely loves working and is a total people-person so this retirement "job" is perfect for him. We were at the park yesterday and enjoyed another ride on Reign of Kong. It's awesome. ;) ;) ;)
Just love these KariAnne!! Happy Spring, friend!!! xo
Just getting to Thistlekeeping this morning and it is a treasure chest! I missed Thistlekeeping last weekend, so disappointed. I don't know if it didn't post or what?! Anyway, on to the many delights and wonders of this weeks post. Thank-you for the always splendid Thistlekeeping. P.S. You are a brave and devoted spouse to go and see King Kong!
I love your random post I have one scheduled for tomorrow! We are two peas in a pod, wink. xo
That stool is ADORABLE!
I love the magnolia home decor designs. They are all so cozy, calming, and a great combination of modern and rustic.
You always share the best links. It is stuff I'm not seeing everywhere else. And I agree with the comment above.......I LOVE the stool! Thanks for sharing my decluttering post and I hope your week goes well!
