Isn’t it amazing that identical twins are completely different?

They are identical and came from the same egg with the same DNA and born at the same time with the same set of genes.

And yet?

Each twin is their own person with their own style and their own personality and their own likes and dislikes and their own way of looking at life.

It’s true with my twins.

My tiny, blue-eyed, blonde-haired, twinkling toed precious ballerinas were born weighing 2 pounds 8 oz. and 2 pounds 2 oz. You can read their story here and here. From the moment they entered this world they have grabbed it by the tail and danced across every minute.

Westleigh is the oldest twin by one minute. She’s the cheerleader. The loud-talker. The celebrator. The turn-every-minute into a party person. The singer and the writer and the dreamer. She writes the most beautiful calligraphy notes and loves popcorn and broccoli and never misses the opportunity to watch a Hallmark movie.

Whitney is the youngest twin. She’s the dancer. The sweet smiler. The post-it note encourager. The twirler. She collects strays and sees only the best in everyone and finds the person sitting by themselves in the cafeteria and makes sure they have a friend. She walks through life pointing her toes and laughing out loud and handing out encouragement to anyone who needs it.

They are so different.

And so are their rooms.

Last week we talked about Whitney’s room. It’s blue and white and yellow and full of plants and light and joy. You can see her room makeover here.

And now?

It’s Westleigh’s turn.

WalMart has the cutest new line from Drew Barrymore. There’s such a fun selection and the quality is truly amazing.

Drew’s WalMart collection is all about flowers and fun colors and personality and brass accents.

Just like Westleigh.

I ordered a few things for her room to completely change up the look for spring.

We started with adding a few new pillows to the bed.

Isn’t it amazing how a little bit of color can change up the entire space?

I LOVE THESE PILLOWS.

These happy colors are pretty true to the screen.

These vintage marble patterned pillows come in two different colorways and the insert is DOWN. Beautiful, wonderful, amazing down. The pillows look and feel super high end with a linen feel to the material and the soft, cozy feeling of down.

You can find them here.

Next, we added this set of handmade chevron wire baskets.

They come in a set of two and they are SUPER well made.

I used one as a vase. I simply inserted a glass vase into the center of the basket and filled it with tulips.

The other Westleigh is using on the floor as a magazine basket or trash can.

You can see the chevron wire baskets here.

On the dresser, we added this globe that’s full of flowers.

This is one of my favorite pieces in the collection.

It features all of the continents and the flowers that love them. It looks a little vintage and comes on a beautiful wood stand with brass accents.

You can see more about the globe here.

Over next to the chair in the other corner of the room, we added these hand woven macrame baskets.

They come in a set of three (and I may or may not have borrowed one of them for the family room).

You can get the baskets in this natural colorway or a blue and natural version.

The baskets have a canvas liner and are really roomy. They are SO well-made and have handles and the cutest tassel on one side.

You can see more about the baskets here.

The twins share a bathroom and I’ve been wanting to update their bathroom accessories and I found this cute three-piece glass set for the bathroom.

The set is really heavy and comes with three pieces: a soap container, a jewelry dish and a toothbrush holder.

I love the brass accents on the glass.

You can see more about the bathroom set here.

This is a room for a cheerleader.

A loud-talker.

A celebrator.

A turn-every-minute into a party person.

It’s a room for a singer and the writer and the dreamer who writes the most beautiful calligraphy notes and loves popcorn and broccoli and never misses the opportunity to watch a Hallmark movie.

Everyone should have a room to call their own.

A room they love.

Especially a wonderful girl called Westleigh.
