If you are looking for artist recommendations—just read these comments.
I’ve read them.
A zillion times.
Twice.
I wrote a post back when it wasn’t hot in Texas and asked for your favorite artists because I was looking for art for my walls and you guys came through. Just like always.
(total aside: do you know how lucky I am to have friends like you?)
And since that day, I’ve been collecting art. Nothing fancy. Nothing extravagant. Nothing expensive.
Just art prints that make my heart happy.
Just like you all recommended on that long ago not-hot day.
And now?
I want to return the favor.
I want to introduce an artist to you.
I found her when I was looking for art prints for the bathroom.
She paints the most delicate flowers and birds and scenes that are sketches with watercolor pastels.
I literally wanted to order everything I saw.
Here’s the before of the bathroom without the prints.
It’s cute.
And springy.
But wait until you see the difference a little art makes.
Here’s the after from the exact same angle.
It’s so amazing how much different it looks with just a light pop of color on the wall.
I love how it makes the bathroom a little brighter.
Here’s a close-up of the prints.
Can you see how delicate and sweet and lovely the shading is?
You can see them over on the Walmart website here and here.
You can see all of her art here.
Here are some of my other favorites that I put in my shopping cart.
This adorable bird with a multi-colored coat.
This beautiful scene from a European vacation.
This beautiful wreath print with its delicate leaves and berries.
I linked a ton of my favorites at the bottom of the post.
There are so many different options and beautiful prints over on the Walmart site.
I think my favorite thing about ordering from Art.com through Walmart is that there is something that fits every single budget.
You can order prints (super inexpensive).
You can order rolled canvases (like I did with the art in my living room).
Or you can order it framed like I did here in the bathroom.
There were a couple of different frame options to choose from. You just pick the one that you like the best and your print shows up already framed.
I really think I owe my art journey to you.
Seriously.
All those recommendations.
All those amazing ideas and help and artists that you sent me.
I am SO lucky to have friends like you.

So soft and lovely! Makes me want to carve out time to get to painting again! Love the pop of color with the fresh flowers.
Love the wall color!! Do you know the color and brand?? Thank you!
Yes! It's Sherwin-Williams Repose Gray! Happy day friend! karianne
Those are lovely prints! And perfectly timed and inspiring for me. (it is always about me, lol) I just signed up for a water color and sketching class offered through my local library- we are meeting outside at area parks and nature centers! Some of my "classmates" are truly talented and I would buy their pictures if they would let me. Other great sources for beautiful art work of all kinds are local farmers markets (at least in towns near me) and at festivals and events- there is a huge spring garden show near me every April and they feature all sorts of artists and crafts persons. So many talented people and it feels good to help support them.
Slam DUNK!!!! Thank you a thousand times for sharing your fabulous Walmart finds.....I'm off to look for art... Hope you all have a fabulous day!!
Great job, Karianne! Love the colors!!!
It's really difficult to photograph paintings--my husband is an artist and I've been shooting his for over 20 years so I tip my hat to you.
Ooo...love these! You found some goodies! I'm surprised you didn't get this one: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Trademark-Fine-Art-My-Greenhouse-Abstract-I-Crop-Blue-Canvas-Art-by-Lisa-Audit/55737221 Thanks for all this. Putting them on my list! :D ❤
Gorgeous. I’ve looked at just half her prints and I want most of them. I love the pop of color in your bathroom.
Very pretty paintings...I can see where a couple of them would work great in my guest bathroom :) Thanks for the introduction 💜
Brings color and beauty to the room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Kari-Anne, Love your blog I follow it every day. I just read your latest blog about your new art work on the wall very pretty and very delicate I often do this myself which I am about to tell you about but just a suggestion in your bathroom did you ever consider changing the cabinet knobs on your sink instead of all white how about a punch of color or maybe a knob with several soft colors just a suggestion for you to think about like I said I have changed knobs on many pieces of furniture in my house and it made such a difference. :)
Love these! It makes a huge difference in there! Looks much more put together!
Thank You! I love watercolors! There are several that will be perfect when I get to my mas get bath!
Hi! Where I love your selections for paintings...what I love more is the shutters in your bathroom. Suggestions on where I can find those for my bathroom? Thanks Elizabeth
Love the color and softness! Beautiful! For some reason I thought of an artist that you may be drawn to. Nancy Noel. My mom loved her and with your spirit and the history of owning a farm, she came to mind. You are an inspiration to me and so many. Thankyou ♥️Linda
Those are some of the most beautiful art prints I have ever seen. They look SO good in your pretty bathroom, too. I am going to head over there - I am trying to spruce up my little sister's huge lake house on a tight budget. (She has 3 in college now and one at home in three different cheer teams - money money money they must spend for the kids- not to mention she owns 2 houses, 2 businesses and 3 out of 4 kids are girls, so there's weddings to save for too,) Let's just say I shop Craigslist a lot for her lake house. Oh if I had a bigger budget the things I could do there. Dreamy dreaming for sure.; Hugs.
I simply adore the touches of pink!!! xoxo
