I was shopping the other day at Walmart and found the CUTEST stuff and almost didn’t post it here.
Truly.
I kept thinking that we haven’t even finished with fall yet.
And then?
I remembered last year.
Last year I remember standing in the middle of the aisles of a store LADENED with Christmas stuff at the end of October. I literally rolled my eyes and pushed my cart on by with all the satisfaction of someone who tries to celebrate a holiday when it is supposed to be celebrated.
Who would ever shop for Christmas now, I thought?
Ridiculous, I thought.
I have plenty of time to shop.
But truly?
The laugh was on me.
I went back three weeks later and the store aisles were BARE. Just a few random star ornaments and the saddest garland you have ever seen. Everyone else had already shopped it all up and left me behind.
So this year I’m shopping early. No more bare aisles for me.
In the middle of all that shopping, I got so excited at all the cute stuff that I knew I had to share.
So today on DAY 10 of “12 Days of Getting Ready for Christmas” I’m joining with my amazing friend Leslie to share all the budget decor ideas. Here are my favorite Christmas finds for under $20.
Where do I even begin?
See what I mean?

I just ordered this pillow online and it showed up yesterday.
It is adorable! It’s such a big size and it’s so fluffy.

I also love this knit pillow I used in the upstairs bedroom last year.
This “be merry” chalkboard with this adorable wreath.
It’s only $16.

It would look so cute with this burlap Merry Christmas banner.
I ordered these, too and they showed up yesterday.
The entire set is $8.00.
They are big enough to use as dishtowels.
You can see them here.
Look at these personalized stockings.
They come in all these patterns and colors and you can add any name and they are under $14 each.

If you are looking for pet stockings? I found the sweetest dog bone stockings here.
This fa la la la la pillow with pom pom trim.
It’s only $14.97.
You can see it here.
This set of two knit trees in this Fair Isle Knit.
They are only $15 for both.
You can see them here.
I love this set of galvanized metal ornaments, too.
And this set of three reindeer.
The set of three is only $17.00.
You can see it here.
It also comes in a set red plaid reindeer, too, and here’s a wood bark reindeer for only $12.
See what I mean?
Isn’t all the CUTEST?
See why I just had to share?
One shopping note—if you can’t find it at your store you can always just order it online.
Are you shopping for Christmas yet?
Did I mention that it is 45 days from TODAY?

Where can I find the buttoned burlap ribbon in first picture?
Thank you!!
I got it at Hobby Lobby! happy day! karianne
Also looking for the burlap ribbon with buttons !
Thanks ! Could not get to it on your pic, but found it on The Jolly Christmas Shop !
Awesome! It's so cute IRL! Happy day! KariAnne
Thanks for doing all the shopping for me! :)
Thanks for the Christmas cuteness! I think I will get the Fresh Cut Trees for our cabin in the forest! It's hard to believe Christmas is 45 days away!
This morning we had to meet our daughter at a garage so we could give her one of our cars for several days while she had some work done to her vehicle. Well, we just so happened to be 1/8th mile from Hobby Lobby, and I pulled in there right at 9:00 AM., with my husband in tow. $100 later I had a cart full of Christmas craft items for the grandchildren, lights, and a bunch of other stuff - all at 50% off. I will be making two of your white twig wreaths this week. Good times!!
Some of the links aren’t taking me to the right place. The link for the knit pillow took me to the leather sign and the link for the galvanized ornaments took me to your old house with the new owners. Am I doing something wrong?
Lisa, Thank you so much for letting me know! It's all fixed now! Happy day! KariAnne
I have learned the hard way...see something Christmasy you love in October, buy it NOW, or forever lose it! LOL!
The Christmas trees with the sweater fabric would be very easy to make, too. I love your ideas.
These are all great for anyone on a budget!! Thank you so much!!! xoxo
Oh how adorable! I think those black and white reindeer and those mules are the cutest things! My sister would love those mules and those reindeer are just so unique. Great eye for the goods. I am not ever a fan of "too early" seasonal decor - but this year is different. My fall stuff I had up early for two months, yesterday put it all away and today slowwwwwwwly getting out my Christmas stuff. Not sure what I will do - normal crazy all=out, or simplified, or different - not sure yet. This year has been awful and so my mindset is different. So my decor may be as well. Time will tell! Thanks for all your inspiration. Hugs.
Such fun Christmas items! Esssspeciiiiaaally the reindeer! Too cute! 😁❤
Same thing has already happened to me this year KariAnne. Wanted to buy a gorgeous faux garland - already gone!
Yes KariAnne, it’s never to early to shop for Christmas, especially this year, everything is sold out already. I’m not a Walmart shopper, but last year you showed a cute set of Buffalo plaid trees which were adorable, they came in sets of three, I ordered two sets. When they came, I received one set in a box, and one random tree thrown in!!!!! Searched their website for a phone number, totally hidden, they don’t want you calling them and you can’t return on line purchases to the store, however, I was treated like a criminal, like I had stolen those other two trees from the other set!!!!!! Never been so humiliated. I was told to return them to my nearest UPS store and when they received them they would send out my two sets!!! I refused, it wasn’t my fault, after the humiliation they went in the trash, never again, will I shop at Walmart. Let me just say, each set was 11.00 I think, so why, did they need to treat me this way, so when shopping with Walmart, even though their items are cute, beware!!
