We are living on the edge here at Thistlewood.

Thistlekeeping on a Monday.

I know…right?

I missed Thistlekeeping on Saturday, but I had to share because it’s fall and there are so many amazing ideas in blogland right now. So here are some random thoughts on a cold Monday morning in the beautiful state of Texas.

1.  I missed Saturday Thistlekeeping because my house was full of incredible, amazing individuals who attended the second annual Inspire Workshop.

It was a day that I need a week to recover from.

I set out to inspire them.

But instead?

They inspired me.

With their grit and their determination and braveness and authenticity and willingness to share their heart.

2.  I wish you could have seen the food this weekend. It was straight out of a Hallmark Movie. I had it catered by my friend Barbara, one of the most creative people that I know. She designed an entire theme for the event called “Fall Forest.” There were giant charcuterie boards and cupcakes from Magnolia and layers and layers and layers of the yummiest food I have ever seen.

3. It was a good week on the blog. We talked about slipcovered couches and toured a Waco farmhouse and discussed how to turn our winter decorations into fall.

4.  I’m working in the dining room today on a project idea that popped into my head in the middle of Poldark.

Fingers crossed it works out.

And now?

Let’s see what I found from around the internet this week.

This recipe is filed under so easy I could make it.

Pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls.

See the recipe here.

Love this wreath in a chair.

This super simple easy alternative to wallpaper.

I missed you Saturday!! I kept checking and checking and thought, " What's going on?" So, now so least I know I wasn't losing it. I'm so glad you had a delightful time Saturday!! No doubt, I'm sure you're the hostess with the mostess.

See why you're the Queen Of Creativity! Able to multitask during a show. When Poldark comes on my eyes never leave the screen. The lead character has my full attention! : )

I'm with you there, Betsy--when Ross Poldark is on screen, I'm not really noticing anything else, especially the set decoration. We all find inspiration in different ways, I suppose. ::wink, wink:: But I do love all the wreaths Karianne found this week! That autumn confection in the chair is just lovely and makes me want to

Everything, and everybody, in that Inspire weekend looks and sounds amazing! (You're forgiven for being busy on Saturday, by the way.) Heavy sigh here, as much as I would SOMETIMES like to start a blog, I'm not sure I have the time to devote to it right now. However, I want to come to the next one just to hang .out! LOL!
