life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful

Sunday nights have been tough around here.

Truly.

I mean Masterpiece is really trying.  They ended Downton Abbey and then to try and make it up to us they gave us like a Downton Abbey the remix and Downton Abbey at an awards show and the best of Downton Abbey the review.

And as many times as they repackage Downton Abbey, just between us…

….it hasn’t been the same.

But I think things may be looking up.

You might want to tune into PBS this Sunday, because I just saw that Mr. Selfridge is back in town. 🙂

Thanks for letting us know about Poldark a while back as well. I just watched all of season 1 and can't wait for season 2.

Oh my goodness. Those Easter eggs are gorgeous. So classy. And I think I need to print off the "thank you" advice and put it somewhere prominent--she was spot-on with all her comments and, yeah, I need to read that more often. I've never gotten into Mr. Selfridge but I am excited about Grantchester and Call the Midwives. :)

Buona Pasqua!! I wanted to wish you a Happy Easter and I hope that it is filled with sunshine. I know it will be filled with love and family -- that's a given at your house. Now I have a confession -- I hope we can still be friends. *ahem* this is hard to say so I'll just blurt it out, "I've never seen Downtown Abbey and I don't know who and what you're talking about!" :-( I know, isn't that shameful? Every time you talk about it I swear that I'm going to take a peak but then I don't remember what day it's on or what time. *sigh* I guess I'll just have to see if they have reruns or dvd's or something. I feel like I'm the wallflower and there is so much going on and I'm clueless. I'll try to see if I can get the Cliff notes on what is going on -- I promise. Sending big hugs!!

Mr. Selfridge - seriously!!!!!! I am super sad that Downton is done, but I am glad that Edith finally has some happiness in her life. Ready for Jeremy as Mr. Sefridge. Thanks for reminding me about this great show. As I'm writing this, I'm listening to two hoot owls talking to each other. I don't know if they are battling for space or are talking about the weather. I love the sound of owls at night!
