Random thoughts on a rainy Saturday:

1. I am so happy right now because the Dipladenias are blooming and blooming. I wait all year for the Dipladenias to arrive. We buy them every April and they bloom(with proper watering) through September.

Dipladenia and Mandevilla are cousins (except I think Dipladenia is cuter).

2. It has been storming here in Texas–thunderstorms and lightning and rain and more rain.

I LOVE thunderstorms.

I lay in the upstairs room sometimes and just watch the skies dance.

3. I just got a brand new tool that finds my top 10 sellers each week.

I was so surprised at number one.

You can see them all here.

4. We are all about the NFL draft here. Zack and my husband are here for all the rounds.

Are y’all going to watch?

5. It was an amazing week on the blog. This week we talked about:

And now?

It’s the weekend.

Time to share all of my favorite finds from the week.

You can see them all here.

A cozy, dark-toned laundry room with black cabinetry, a checkerboard floor, and a central wooden table holding a basin. wicker baskets, a washing machine, and a green and white striped wall add charm.

This laundry room is so next level.

Wait until you see the before.

See all the details here.

Elegant dining table setting featuring ornate white plates with gold detailing, silver cutlery, a white linen napkin, and a small plant wrapped in a piece of burlap, with flowers and glasses in the background.

This Mother’s Day table setting.

Isn’t that tiny flower pot silverware holder the cutest?

See the table setting here.

A verdant shrub in a classical white planter surrounded by pink flowers, accompanied by smaller pots with blooms and a metal watering can, set against a home's entrance with a white door.

One idea for the porch?

Mix faux and real plants together.

Here are all the details on how to mix them.

A vase of vibrant orange and white flowers on a table, with small clay pots and books nearby, creating a cozy, natural indoor setting.

You know I am all about a faux flower.

All you need is a little know-how to make them look real.

Oh, I can keep my faux Christmas trees out on my balcony year round! What a great idea. Of course, I would be using all faux all the time in the pots, but still...this would save me so much storage space as well as time...now I love those outdoor showers, but you haven't become so enamored of your new front yard that you're considering installing one there are you? Ha! Those cute little swivel chairs in that game room really caught my eye. Thanks for all the fun inspiration! We have received at least seven inches of new wet snow and it's still snowing here...supposed to be 63F for a high tomorrow. That's the spring weather in the foothills of the Rockies.

Kari Anne I am so bummed I didn't order more pillows when they were on sale. My husband and I have a graveyard of pillows from down to bamboo and beyond. We are both happy with these so please if you ever see they are on sale tell us! Thank you for your suggestions

Thank you for another way for me to sit, relax, and read. Your brother is a genius and I think so very talented.

Great thistles, KA! I loved the outdoor showers and sent to my sister - they're wanting to put in an outdoor shower at their lake house this year. It was all very rustic but was super fun to see. Sorry it's raining there - we're expected it to make it this way by Wednesday but today was almost completely cloudless and blue - chilly but gorgeous. My plants loved all that sunshine today!!
