Hi KariAnne! I've so missed following along on your blog as we sold our house, packed, moved, and drove across this big country. I am just now hearing about your brother. I do hope everything is OK. I will pray for him today. Thank you for all the autumn inspiration...my FAVORITE time of year. I think I'm going to make a Pinterest board (another one🤪)with seasonal vinyette ideas for my new house. Sadly, I'm a bird without a nest as our new home won't be ready until Nov???🙏 But, I'm decorating it in my head! You always have the best ideas! Thank you, friend! Congratulations on your new book coming out!

That apartment in Lisbon! The high ceilings, the tall windows with those interior shutters and all that molding! Amazing...and then you could combine that with the Murphy Door, something I've never heard about! I wonder where I might hide one of those in my one-bedroom apartment?! Thanks for all the eye candy.

I am so sorry, I hope he gets better. And I just preordered your book. I was happy too and would always support you in your work. Thanks for all the great reads. God be with you and your family.

KariAnne I'm so happy your brother is doing better. I'm sending blessings and prayers for his quick recovery. I just want to say there has got to be a quicker way to dry those orange slices. Sigh.... Have a wonderful weekend and congrats on the book I'm getting it. Thank you for brightening my day.

I'm embarrassed to say that I live within an hour of Liz Marie's store and have never gone there. I can hear you saying, "Road trip!", KariAnne! Another week of pretty finds--I especially like the pinecone wreath. Happy Saturday!

Thankful your brother is improving. That's an answer to prayer for sure. As for clogs...YES! I knit my own socks for winter and clogs let me see them while I wear them. A Murphy door is a new one to me. Don't have the room here, but for those that do, what a great idea. Enjoy your weekend. Blessings.

Great inspiration in this week's thistle, KA! Those English country gardens are absolutely swoon worthy! Can't wrap my head around the fact that we're over half way through August. Ugh. Still too hot to think about fall for me - but that's typical. I don't get out the stuff till the corn stalks are browning. We have a long cold season ahead so I hang onto summer for as long as possible. Hope you've had a good weekend - and still praying for your brother. ♥
