Yesterday I had a to-do list longer than the Mississippi river.

I started strong with good intentions.

And ended snuggled up under a blanket next to the fire with a cup of coffee watching Enchanted.

It’s hard to get motivated when it’s seven degrees.

But today is a new day.

Today I’m making that list and checking it twice……

well…right after I finish that Fixer Upper marathon. 🙂

I’m always on the hunt for the perfect handmade sign.

You know the one that looks like it hung outside a shop in colonial Williamsburg.

Now I’m making my own.  Thanks Ashley.

Top This Top That Gallery Wall

Love this easy idea for a gallery wall from my friend, Laura.

The possibilities are endless.

What about a map?  Or printed typography?  Or a book of old advertising logos.

And now in the week that was.

This artwork is amazing.

This is such a clever storage idea.

What a cute idea for an Easter gift.

Easy organizing idea.

And here’s 10 unusual things to use as a night stand.  Not sure about the drums, though.  🙂

And one more for the road.

Now I’m off to tackle today.

Staying in today as it is cold here in VA Hoping to get some organizing done. Thanks for the inspiration. I watched the Fixer Upper marathon on Tuesday topped off with the season two first episode. Love Jo Jo and Chip! Happy Saturday to you and yours!

Kari Anne I have learned so much from your blog. You might not be as organized as you would like to be but that is mainly because you are busy with your children. My children are grown and gone (no grandchildren but that is another story, I still have hope) my house is clean, my house is organized, everything is in it's place and it is lonely. I think I have my hubby convinced to make that rack you have - still debating about the recipe in the back - so my house will be even more organized. Thank you for all you teach me.

My "gotta get busy" train of thought quickly derailed as soon as I started clicking on links. Now my quandary will be whether I want to make an ice cream parlor sign before I make the Oreos, or if I need the Oreos first so I can snack on them while reading all the great blogging advice. Decisions, decisions... Thanks for all the great inspiration! Enjoy your weekend!

The cold zaps our productivity like a shockwave. Stay in, stay warm, stay on the couch - same here. And now I feel guilty for it. Yes I want my whole house to look like colonial Williamsburg - getting closer! Up next we're dressing the part. jk

Well in exact opposite weather it is about 30• deg C in Cape Town! I just love that you always say exactly what's in your soul & sometimes it resonates with exactly what is happening across the miles on this side of the world. I love your blog, keep it up!

Amused by some of those night stands! On one side of my bed there is a traditional, two-drawer night stand but on the other side, mine, I have an old treadle sewing machine that used to belong to my husbamd's Mother, and her Mother before her. My bed sets pretty high, so it works!

Labeling pics with an SEO title? Totally foreign to me. Can you please explain? And thank you so much for the link on the blog growing post. Cat is lovely! Jane x
