Random thoughts on a beautiful October morning:
1. I just stepped in dog poop.
Sigh.
We were going out to breakfast with all the family people and I was rushing around trying to wake up the house and I stepped in it.
Dog poop that is.
2. I’m so happy you all like my $20 and under finds from Walmart.
Thank you for all the sweet shopping e-mails. You totally made my day.
I’m so sorry that some of it already sold out, but there are a few finds left here.
3. We went and watched a football game in the rain yesterday.
It was one of my most favorite games ever.
We sat with my in-laws and watched the game and the twins cheer and dance and drank hot chocolate and sat under an umbrella and snuggle.
4. Today we are working at installing outdoor lights. By we, I mean I’m about to watch a Hallmark movie and supervise when needed.
And now?
Let’s see all the fun stuff I found around the internet this week.
Just in case you missed it on my Instagram stories, I wanted to share what happened when the twins put on their Elsa and Anna costumes for Halloween.
I laughed so hard that tea came out of my nose.
There is so much more fun where this came from, so be sure you are following me on Instagram here.
Love this sweet face.
And love this front porch.
This beautiful table in Capri.
I want to visit one day.
I also wanted to give a shout out to my sweet friend Andrea who just started her etsy shop.
She has the prettiest, affordable, amazing assortment of stuff for sale over there like this set of graduated wood beads.
So many fun things for Christmas and Christmas presents.
You can see the shop here.
And the beads here.
And in random news this week:
These master bedroom ideas
Love this simple idea
I want to make one of these
These french fleamarket finds
Hardwoods in the kitchen?
This inspired me
I can’t wait to watch this
And this.
You have to see this amazing house tour.
Seriously.
Every room is perfection (starting with the outside).
And one more for the road.
This simple Christmas wrapping idea.
You can see it (and five other versions here).
And in exciting news, my friend Diana just published a new e-book called What to Sell on eBay.
I’ve read it and it has amazing tips on how to bring in a side income selling things on eBay.
You can see the e-book here.
She is running a special right now where you get
- What to Sell on eBay (a PDF eBook)
- Ebay Shipping for Beginners (a free PDF bonus)
for only $9.99.
You can order the eBay book here.
Super fun features! I didn't know Andrea had and Etsy shop... so glad you shared that! And the poop... I had a de ja vu... or at least a 'didn't-she-post-this-before-vu". And the tea coming out of your nose... too funny. I'm glad you posted the girls' video here, as I went to show my sister last nite on IG and it was gone... she just sent me an LOL after she watched it.
Ooooo, first commenter today, I am!
Happy Saturday to you!! The poop part wasn’t great but I’m sure the rest of the day will be better 🌞 Love the house tour and your daughter’s are awesome 👏👏👏
Hey there! Thanks for featuring my Thanksgiving DIY. I have a friend with an eBay business, I am looking at that book for her! Also, that home tour! Wow!! Have a great weekend!
Also, my four year old got a real kick out of your girls!
Poop happens. Enjoy that Hallmark movie!
You are so darn funny. Was the poop indoors or outdoors? A few years ago I was listening to Sirius XM radio and I was listening to the kid's station (because I'm a big kid .... ) and they played a song which talked about "did you see where the cat threw up? Better watch what you're steppin' in". HUGE LOL moment for me, since I have experienced that more than once. In other news .... your girls are hilarious .... I didn't know people used an actual recipe for cinnamon sugar--I just mix it till it looks right .... love the front porch and I'd love to go to Capri .... and you'll be super proud of me bcuz I went with my daughter to JoAnn's this morning and I made some (on sale!) Christmas wreath/bow purchases, even though it's still October! Happy weekend to you.
Just want to say I love Diana's blog as much as I love yours.....and I won her Ebay books. I was so excited and happy as I am going to try to start selling on Ebay because social security isn't giving me my standard of living. lol Also, I cannot tell you how many times I have had to wash my fave tennis shoes because I stepped "in it". Blessings to your and your family!
You are such a sweetheart, Sharon :) Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about starting out on eBay--so glad you won the bundle!
Love the Walmart shopping show-and-tell yesterday! I was like others who wanted some of the lovely things that you showed us, but they were sold out. I went back and checked again later in the day, though, and I WAS able to purchase the items I wanted, like the little tree in the burlap pot. Hoping others will go back and check as well, and find the treasures they were looking for!
Neglected to mention that my shopping was done online!
I’m so in love with that old gold mirror. 😍😍. Did you find it in that distressed manner, or did you do that.?
If you live long enough, you’re bound to step in it; poo or otherwise. 🤣🤣🤣 This weather makes everything better. 🍁🍁🍁
Hey maybe next Saturday you can supervise day bed making!
Each year I vow I won't buy 1 more Christmas thing...but IKEA had such cute things...little white house votive holders...big white house lanterns...paper ornaments...so I bought.! Your stories make me laugh...so needed on a daily basis! Cozy White Cottage author was on Today show this past week...to inspire for!
Your daughters! You are triplets! And your laughter made my day!
Thank you for all that gorgeousness with the jewelry and dresses from all those royals! And I loved your girls’ video. So funny. 😊😊
Love the video of the girls- it was perfect-I heard the tea escape as you were laughing so hard!!!!!Thanks for all the links- enjoyed all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel your pain on the dog poop. I was outside picking up poop on Thursday and my sunglasses fell off my head right into some.
Oh my! Those girls are hilarious! Must get their sense of humor from you. Enjoyed the video.
You had me at lighting and Hallmark movie! that's how I like to consult too! laura
How fun watching your girls! I have a quick question. You mention your friend Andrea who just started her Etsy shop. When I clicked the link, it said she has been on Etsy since 2010. Is this the same person? I'd like to buy something, but want to buy from the right person. Love your blog! Thanks! KariAnne
That video of the twins singing from Frozen - oh my word, hahaha - too cute! Of course my 3 yeasr old grand-daughter knows every word and wears her "icy outfit" every single day. Dang, I do have to start blogging again - there is so much adorableness not being shared! Thanks for the chuckles. Hope that sweet tea didn't burn your sinus when you laughed! Have a wonderful week. I am sick, not so wonderful. : - (
That home tour was a visual treat, but those mini-Thistles were the BEST!!! xoxo
Your girls are a delight, KariAnne--I missed that video on IG so it was nice to see it here today :) Thank you so much for the shout out for my book about selling on eBay. You are an absolute sweetheart and I'm so blessed by your friendship and generosity!
KariAnne, your girls are just so cute! Enjoyed that cute video of them! It's always good when the "younger" ones give us a laugh! We all need to have gals in our life like those two precious twins! They are so beautiful -- just like their dear Mom! Enjoy each moment with them! They are such a blessing in your life. Thanks for sharing your precious family with us! Always enjoy hearing about them!
