Random thoughts on a sunny Saturday morning:
1. Just in case you don’t live in Texas and wondered what the weather was like here? It’s hot.
I hear about all your amazing fall temperatures.
And hope a day and a thermometer reading with an 8 in front of it shows up soon.
2. I spent this last week in North Carolina.
If you live there just know you live in one of the most amazing places in these United States.
The rest of the country is jealous.
3. It was a fun week on the blog. We discussed decorating your front entry for fall and made pumpkins that looked like we sewed them and shared ways to make a difference and posted this amazing before and after dining room.
4. Do you have Instagram?
I do. You can find me @thistlewood.
And the best part of Instagram are the stories. If you want to follow along with me and all the random things and decorating tips and design ideas that happen minute-by-minute over here at Thistlewood?
Here’s how to follow me over there.
Let’s see all the amazing stuff I found for us on my travels this week.
This fall wreath.
I love the layers of colors.
Who doesn’t love a pie with pumpkin?
And those leaves are the cutest.
See the recipe here.
These pumpkins are beautiful.
And what makes them so pretty? The real stems.
And this wreath.
Doesn’t it look like it could take you from fall to winter?
See the DIY here.
And in random news this week:

This is a question I’m asking myself this week and all the weeks to come.
And one more for the road.
I showed you this dining room reveal this week.
Here’s one from 2017 that still makes my heart happy.
