This is the face of someone who is actually excited to be working out.

Can you believe it?

Just between us? I can’t believe I just typed those words.

I have so far to go—miles and miles and miles.

Literally.

But here’s the thing–I can tell you with actual excitement in my voice that I’ve found a routine that works for me. It’s a mixture of so many things. A little walking. A little weight lifting. A personal trainer who is helping me get stronger every week.

But mostly it’s the little things. It’s parking at the end of the of parking lot and walking a little farther. It’s moving my feet when I’m sitting still. It’s stretching every day.

It’s being kind and encouraging and telling me, myself, and I we can do it.

And what better way to keep working out than to get the CUTEST workout clothes that are so affordable and make me want to get up and take on that mile?

Want to see what I found?

LET’S GO.

Here are all the pieces that I found. You can get them online if your local store doesn’t have them in your size. Walmart fashion is BRINGING IT right now with the active wear. There are so many high end features with these pieces and the quality is amazing.

Also—all the pieces mix and match (which is so great when you are wearing an outfit almost every morning).

I’ll unpack each of the pieces and what I love about each one, but first let me list them here. I also want to encourage you that if you see something that you like? I’d get it as quickly as you can. Last time I shared a Walmart post most of the things sold out so quickly and I got tons of emails telling me how much you liked something (grandfather sweater I’m looking at you).

Here are the pieces. You click on any of the items to shop:

Here’s the jacket and flare pants set in the Merlot Wine color.

See what I mean?

Have you ever see anyone so excited to walk by a lake?

I have the pants in both the Black Soot and the Merlot Wine and I am so ALL ABOUT these pants. They hold in my tummy and have the perfect amount of stretch and have a little flare at the bottom. They are a little long on me which means they will be the perfect length for everyone taller than 5 feet.

They have a pocket on one side and the flare has a little slit that looks so cute when you walk.

You can see the pants here.

These leggings are high waisted and have skinny ankle length bottoms with two side slit pockets.

You can see the leggings here.

The jacket matches the pants and has a zip front with two zip pockets.

The jacket has a mock neck collar and shaping seams that are super flattering and thumb holes (I love a thumb hole. It makes me feel extra fancy when I’m working out).

It comes in several different colors, but these were my favorites.

You can see the jackets here.

I love these tennis shoes.

Last year I shared these same shoes in the black and khaki and loved them so much I bought them in the maroon and pink color this fall.

They slip on and are super comfortable with support when you work out. They run a little big, so I would size down in these shoes. I get so many compliments on them and they really look high-end.

You can see the tennis shoes here.

Here’s the sweatshirt I shared with you last year in leopard.

They brought it back this year in tons of fun colors.

It’s the perfect-not-too-big-but-still-extra-cozy sweatshirt. It has a high-low hem and I wear it draped over my shoulders and you can tie it around your waist. It’s amazing for layering, too.

You can see the sweatshirts here.

Here’s everything all together so you can see how it all works together.

I am seriously all about every piece I shared. I’ve tested out (and paid way too much) for other brands before and I’m so so happy to have these pieces in my workout wear outfit rotation.

And I’m also happy to be working out and moving more and enjoying every mile.

Today is a gift.

Make sure to celebrate it. 🙂

Colors are gorgeous! Are the sweatshirts traditional fleecy inside or are they a knit through and through? Thank you, KariAnne!🥰

Thank you, KariAnne, for these beautiful outfit ideas. The Merlot Wine color is one of my favorites. :) I like how you said to park further and walk more. Little things make a difference. Keep it up!

So awesome! We all need to move to keep healthy for longer! I LOVE these colors and have been looking for comfy, cute clothes, for reasonable prices to wear while taking care of my grandbaby three times a week. There is lots of lifting and moving going on watching a 17lb. 5th month old!! She's my current weight lifting routine at the moment! :) Thanks, KariAnne for sharing this. You look adorable as ever!

Love the workout clothes! I also started working out several times a week. I take several classes at the gym. For me, it pushes me to have others to work out with. I take pilates, flow, yoga and barre sculpt. The instructors are fabulous and really give a whole body workout! Barre is intense! I love the challenge! Good luck on your new challenge! I know you can do it!!

I follow another woman who often mentions clothing available at Walmart. Unfortunately, in just about every case, the items are either sold out or available in only XXS or XXL. I went to Walmart to order pants the minute I received your email today. The black pants were already sold out.

Great photo! You should frame that one! I have found a line dance class at our local senior center that I just love and have taken for 18 months. It only meets once a week, but if it met three times a week I'd be there. I'm also walking...after a rather lengthy hiatus because my regular walking buddy has a number of issues that have been preventing her from walking...walking every Monday morning, rain or shine, with another woman in my apartment building. (Don't ask me why my regular walking partner's health issues have anything to do with my walking! I'll find any excuse!]. If I can get myself motivated, once again, to sign up for Silver Sneakers at the gym where I used to walk for free on the treadmill three times a week, I'm going to start doing that again. Don't like the gym atmosphere, but walking on a treadmill is so much easier than walking on uneven sidewalks! So, cheers to us! Keep going!

You look so cute in those clothes! Cant believe they are for working out... I hope you frame these pics of yourself. They look great. Happy Wednesday, Big Hugs 🤗

Karianne, all the pieces are super cute. Very timely selections too. I've been taking pilates for the last 9 weeks and counting. It's hard but fair-lol. I'd love to add walking to my routine too, (as soon as this Southern heat lets up a bit). Of course, you look adorable, as always. xoxo
