Pallet-Stacks

To quote Barbara Mandrell, one of the greatest philosophers from 1970….

….I was pallet wood before pallet wood was cool.

Seriously.

I don’t think I’ve ever met a piece of pallet wood I didn’t like.

And just when I thought I had seen everything you could create from pallet wood, my brother came along and inspired me even more.

Here are some of my favorite pallet projects ever created….

…and a pallet joke for the road just to make you smile.

Did you hear about the scientist who used pallet wood to build a rocket?

He had a few loose screws. 🙂

That is so cool! I was just reading on Craigslist last night that our brand spanking new Home and Company advertised Free pallets both new and old are for the taking behind the yet to open up store! Think I'll go check it out in your honor! Oh! Yesterday, after leaving the hardware store in my neighborhood there was a pile of junk on the opposite side of the road with a sign in front of it "FREE"! Again, in your honor and thinking of you....and this being my very first time in doing something like this.....I dropped off the road and went to examining through all the pieces of junk. I score a real nice size piece of glass for a table top! Thanks so much for all the inspiration you give!!!

You are not only the queen muse of creativity but also of cheap!! How great is that? It's easy going into a highfalutin store with a purse full of cash or a gold credit card. But to shop along alleys and dumpsters and highways and come up with treasure -- well, that is true talent. I bow to your ingenuity and genius!! Big Hugs!!

For a Gramma like me one thinks...I done it all and seen it all...NOT! While I am old and my house is FULL..I can enjoy raving over and passing along these wonderfully crazy projects to others!
