laundry room

Meet my laundry room.

We’ve had some adventures, my laundry room and I.

There was the day I added too much soap and the floor and carpet were covered in bubbles.

There was the time someone threw a mud covered shirt into the room and it flung mud all over the walls.

There was the time a stinky sock got stuck behind the door and I thought I needed to call an exterminator.

Good times.

laundry-room-dryer and washer

Most of the time the laundry room doesn’t look like this.

Not even close.

Especially during baseball season.

When baseball season rolls around, I’m washing uniforms and pants and shirts and gloves with the worst ground-in dirt you have ever seen.

And just when I think I’ve got everything.  Just when I think I’ve covered all my bases (pun totally intended).  Just when I’ve loaded everything in the world that’s baseball and close the washer door….

….I hear a version of this.

“Mom.  It’s an away game.  I need my other baseball pants washed.”

baseball bag

But this baseball season?  I have the perfect solution.  It’s my extra baseball pants washer.

An LG Sidekick™.

Or as I call it….

….my home run hitter.

LG Sidekick

It looks like this.

An extra washer that fits under the larger washer in place of a pedestal.

I know….right?

Just when you think they’ve thought of everything someone comes along and creates something like this.

Sidekick Washer Baseball Pants

It’s perfect for the extra pair of baseball pants or the red shirt you don’t want to wash with everything else or the dirty pillow case from outside that needs it’s very own super-charged cycle.

It has six different cycles for everything from towels to delicates.

It can run at the same time as your washer or run separately for something you need to wash last minute that you don’t want to run the entire washer for.  It can also operate independently from or simultaneously with an LG front-load washer.

baseball hat

Here’s to another baseball season this year.

I pulled out everything to sort it and get it organized for practice.

And I laughed when I saw the hat.

It looks like its had a few slides into home plate.

Good thing I have a washer just for that. 🙂

And now, in the super exciting news department.

Wow..your laundry room is beautiful! ! I'd love to win this sidekick because I think the concept is brilliant!! How clever! !it could come in handy as you mentioned for dirtier items or 1 or 2 pieces. Thanks for the chance to win it!! Love your blog! Joey J.

  2. Image for Kim Heavner Kim Heavner

I would wash the kids workout clothes in my beautiful new washer! Believe me, they need their own washer!!

  3. Image for sydney85 sydney85

I would love to use the LG Sidekick for all our blue jeans. I hate putting jeans in with the lighter clothes.

  4. Image for Jeanne Jeanne

I don't usually laugh out loud when I'm reading, but oh, that comment about the sock behind the door! That got me going! Thank you!

  5. Image for Marguerite Hall Marguerite Hall

LoL I thought I was the only one who's mistaken errant laundry for a vermin. I'd love the chance at having my own sidekick. I'd be able to tackle the laundry pile with a single bound!

  6. Image for Kelley Rouze Kelley Rouze

Would love aside kick for my husband's use - he likes to wash ONE outfit at the end of every day. Sweaty work clothes!

  7. Image for Anna Anna

Wow!! The Pedestal washer is PERFECT for my husband's cycling clothes. And you have such an awesome laundry room by the way.

  8. Image for Michelle Michelle

Wow! That is AMAZING! I would definitely wash socks. To be able to keep a separate sock hamper and do small loads of just socks? Laundry heaven! Probably small loads of undies, too.

  9. Image for Alyce Kennedy Alyce Kennedy

This is're right...just when you think you've seen it all, they go and make these products better than anything else on the market. I really want one!

  10. Image for Mari Mari

KariAnne I must say I love the lighting in your home. Always looks so bright and spacious :) even with the baseball season lol. Nice share those machines are awesome. I have a friend that has one and I look forward to having my own when I get my own home:)

  11. Image for Pamela Pamela

what an amazing idea! I'd use it often for my things which I launder seperatly from the family's. I am the family member with the least amount to wash but the most amount of delicates.

  12. Image for NormaJean NormaJean

What a great convenience this would be! I'm always needing to wash that ONE thing and feel it is such a waste of water, laundry soap and time to put it in the regular washer on small load. I would love and use this product often.

  13. Image for Mary Crozier Mary Crozier

The SideKick would allow my husband to wash the rags separately from my finer clothing...for some reason he likes to throw EVERYTHING together in one load-whites, darks, filthy rags, delicates and has ruined many of my clothes!!! He gets an A for helping but........

  14. Image for Michele Riggsbee Michele Riggsbee

What a great idea! Modern technology is a amazing! Kitchen towels is what I would wash in there so they don't get midewey smelling!

  15. Image for Heather C Heather C

Who wouldn't want this washing machine, I love to wash my items that say hand wash cold water only - who has time, so I load up my machine and wash one item - not very efficient.

  16. Image for Jae Jae

I love your laundry room, so bright and fun. Brilliant idea from LG! They make some great products. My favorite use, there are lots, would be for either hand towels or dishtowels. I like hot water and a little bleach, and refuse to mix either, or wash with other things, but feel guilty when i have only 3 or 4 to wash....

  17. Image for Kathy Kathy

Love the LG washer. I'd use the side kick to wash my daughter's laundry the seems to magically appear after the washer has been started. Your laundry room is absolute perfection.

  18. Image for Chels Chels

WOW!!!! It can do all of that?! I tell ya, the washer and dryers these days are getting so fancy! Kitchen towels, definitely! I cook with a ton of garlic and onion and so I'm always washing and drying my hands a lot and the kitchen towels just soak up the smell - which then gets tossed into the washing machine until the next time I run it with a full load. This would be amazing!

  19. Image for Lisa Lisa

Crazy I tell you crazy!!! What will they think of next! Brilliant idea (I do not want to win this cuz' I have two washers and two dryers--so do not enter me). I do think this is really a great idea however and can't resist commenting. Your laundry room is gorgeous! Fondly, -Lisa

  20. Image for Danyelle H Danyelle H

I'd love a sidekick because we're expecting our first baby in October and it would be perfect for all those quick washes or small loads

  21. Image for CarolyneJS CarolyneJS

While window shopping appliances (for when ours kicks the bucket) I thought the Sidekick add-ons were over the top. That was until I started potty-training my three year old twins. Yup, almost every accident has involved The Blankie, that "I can't sleep without it" blanket! And saying, "you have to wait for it to dry" does not qualify as a reasonable reason... Sheets & matress pads, we have extra, but not that one of a kind, crocheted by a great aunt blankie!

  22. Image for Mira Brown Mira Brown

I would probably use it mostly for those one or two delicate items that normally require the entire load to be delicate cycle. So exciting!

  23. Image for Jane Jane

Oh man, we are renovating our century old house. I could so use this Sidekick to wash the dirty, sweaty work clothes!

  24. Image for Nancie Nancie

Oh my gosh! I would love to win this giveaway! My washer and dryer are so old and loud. I would love a washer and dryer that is capable of washing a king size comforter instead of hauling it to the laundromat!

  25. Image for Beth Beard Beth Beard

I would love doing laundry in that gorgeous room! I would enjoy spending time in there everyday. I thought is was lovely before, but's stunning!! The Sidekick washer would be perfect for my family and I would use the top and the bottom daily in hopes of keeping up with the mountains of laundry we produce every week.

  26. Image for Kyla Kyla

You have THE best giveaways! Why do I want an LG sidekick? With my concrete construction husband and three young sports playing boys, it would be lovely to have that extra unit PLUS wash MY delicates in their own washer ❤️

  27. Image for Sharon H Sharon H

My son is a diesel mechanic and a LG sidekick would be perfect for his laundry! It would keep our clothes from smelling like diesel fuel and grease! Thanks for the opportunity to win one!

  28. Image for Sue Sue

this is the best idea since sliced bread! The sidekick would be perfect for kitchen towels. I wash these towels alone on a sanitize cycle. To save detergent and water,I wait for a full load, but not with the sidekick. Love your laundry room.

  29. Image for Ruby Ruby

i love my big LG dryer, it sounds just like the ice cream truck when it chimes the end of the cycle. I would wash the darling $2.29 silver linen goodwill jacket with the cute huge buttons

  30. Image for Susan Susan

Forget the washer, let's talk about that sexy light fixture...swit-swoo! Now THAT is one way to make doing laundry a little more enjoyable! No wonder you once put too much soap in the washer...that's what happens when you are constantly looking up! ;)

  31. Image for Marylee Marylee

What a great idea, where has it been all my life. I would love to win this sidekick. I'd wash my husbands sneakers and hats first. Then the dogs bedding and toys.

  32. Image for Becky Becky

Oh I agree, this would be great for those last minute forgotten emergency pieces of clothing. Now if they can just make a dryer that folds and puts the laundry away I'd be in business. Your laundry room is so pretty. Love the runner and the light fixture is great.

  33. Image for Erin Prohaska Erin Prohaska

Can't say enough good things about your laundry room! You're gifted, that's for certain as you found a way to make laundry pleasant! :) I'm thinking stuffed animals...not the whole herd...but my kids fav 'lovies'. They have a way of looking and smelling a little over loved, if you will! :) Would be nice to pop 'em in together for a quick snuggle refresher. Thanks!

  34. Image for Stef Stef

I would love the Sidekick because it's an amazing idea for all the things you don't want to throw in the washer with the rest of your cycle..bras, dog toys, stinky workout clothes!

  35. Image for Carlotta Lee Carlotta Lee

As usual, your post was entertaining. I know what you mean about the kids leaving out an article of clothing that "has" to be washed now. If I were to win that machine, I'd wash my Norwex cloths because they need to be washed separately from linty clothing. What a great idea-2 washers in 1.

  36. Image for Bonnie W. Bonnie W.

This awesome LG sidekick would be fabulous for delicates and personal items that usually are not large loads. I really need a sidekick in the laundry as it is daunting if I am running behind!

  37. Image for Cherie Cherie

Oh! Wow! Had no idea that something like that was out there! And then I wonder why it wasn't made sooner because I can see using it for so many good reasons, like as soon as you have a front loader underway and someone announces that they absolutely need something washed! Not to mention an unnamed person having exercise clothes that smell like cat urine. Yeah. And love how you make doing laundry look glamorous, Karianne!

  38. Image for Babette Thurston Babette Thurston

I would so love to win a LG sidekick due to the fact that I'm always stopping my washer to add something!! Also, my washer is getting older and not performing as well. It is also loud and I love the features of the sidekick!! What an awesome give away!! Thank you, KariAnne!! Love the LG brands and Lowes!!

  39. Image for Susan Hicks Susan Hicks

Love your laundry room! We're empty nesters who like to keep the laundry basket empty. That involves a lot of small loads! This washer sounds perfect.

  40. Image for Sharon H Sharon H

There's ALWAYS something that could be thrown in there but my two mini doxies have the nastiest smelling toys! The fox and the raccoon that have been ripped to shreds and no stuffing remaining and certainly no squeaker anymore....yep, those could could use frequent refreshings. I saw this new wonder machine on a commercial the other day and wished I was in the market for a new set. Every big appliance I have is an LG. Except the washer and dryer. Thanks karianne for the opportunity

  41. Image for Sharon Smith Sharon Smith

Love your laundry room. I would use it for dark clothing or small loads. Sounds amazing!!!! I would love to win it

  42. Image for Teresa Teresa

I would wash all my clothing that I wash separated one by one in the sidekick. I love my lg washer, and I would love to add the sidekick to it! How cool!

  43. Image for CGinAZ CGinAZ

Thank you KariAnne, for this great opportunity for one of us, your loyal army of followers. There's ALWAYS SOMETHING that does not make it into the load it should be in. But I think what I'd use it for most is any new item that comes into the house, but I'm afraid to wash with other items for fear of running dye. I do speak from experience. What a life saver that would be.

  44. Image for Sandra Vigil Sandra Vigil

What timing! I just had the repairman tell me it will cost $1300 to repair my washer. Egads! I think it's time for a new one and the LG is one I had been researching. Thank you, thank you. You just helped me to make a decision. :)

  45. Image for Cheryl foley Cheryl foley

I would love to win this Sidekick because it would be ideal for doing my more settling for that icky last resort bra at the bottom of the drawer because I didn't get to wash the nice new ones yet. :) Thanks so much

  46. Image for Zolane Zolane

What a great idea! It would be perfect for washing up dishcloths and cloth napkins as well as a host of other items.

  47. Image for Katie B. Katie B.

I would wash all my gardening gloves in the sidekick. They are caked with dirt and I worry about contaminating our clothes with poison ivy. This would be perfect!

  48. Image for Jen H Jen H

We have 5 kids ages 8, 5, 4, 2.5 and 7 months. My husband is a plumber. So, I have lots of laundry and this would be sweet!

  49. Image for Rita B... Rita B...

We travel the same path...We are raising a 15 year old grandson who loves to play baseball...back to back games can certainly keep us on our toes!!! That Sidekick from heaven sounds like the ticket for this grandma!!! Keep Calm and Wash On!

  50. Image for Dawn Dawn

I Love This! I know I would use the Sidekick daily. It would be perfect for my daughter's red volunteer shirts, my husband's work shirts, dish towels and cleaning cloths, place mats and so much more! Thank you :)

  51. Image for Alyson Noto Alyson Noto

Oh how awesome is this! I would wash the cloth diapers in the Sidekick... 'cause everyone knows they don't want those washed with their daily laundry!

  52. Image for Robin T. Robin T.

I'd love to have a Sidekick for those couple of found pieces that never get put in the loaded wash or for that one item that needs to be washed alone. What a great invention!

  53. Image for Chris Chris

I have 3 dogs, a cat and 3 grandsons who visit. I live in the country so what wouldn't I wash. Stinky socks, gloves, dog chews, you name it. Could I just have your laundry room in my house please. Amazing.

  54. Image for Patricia Patricia

well, I'd secretly like to throw the dog in that little sidekick, but in the name of humanity, I'll just empty the various gym bags left laying around my abode and call it a win! Super duper idea from those peeps at LG.

  55. Image for Leslie Watkins Leslie Watkins

Can't tell you how many baseball pants I've washed! Sadly those days are over. But it would still be awesome to have one of these for those things you don't want to or are afraid to wash with other things!

  56. Image for Cari Morgan Cari Morgan

I would love and adore an LG Sidekick for leotards and ballet tights..... lots of ballet tights... especially the favorite pair that make it to the stage just as the delicate cycle is ending....(dance pun intended).

  57. Image for Lori Barber Lori Barber

My girls are always forgetting to tell me their dance leotards need washed. The LG sidekick would be awesome for washing that extra dance outfit.

  58. Image for Kathy Kathy

Wowza! I love it when a company creates a product that is truly innovative. Two washers is such a great concept. I currently have one very noisy, not so functional one so this post really spoke to me:) Love your beautiful laundry room!

  59. Image for Melinda Melinda

I would be so ecstatic to win these in the first place wowee:)0 I would use that sidekick for my hand washables. Shoot I would probably be washing everything in sight!!

  60. Image for Krisanne Krisanne

I would love to win the LG sidekick! I just saw it in the store last week and thought it's a great idea!!

  61. Image for Courtney Cloe Courtney Cloe

This is a great giveaway! My husband and I are empty nesters and I always have small little loads to do! I think I would use it for our morning walk clothes the most!

  62. Image for Melanie Melanie

I would love that! I would wash my dirty rags separate from my towels! Or the delicates separate from the rest of the loads! Genius!!

  63. Image for Carrie Carrie

Being able to separate out the 'football turf' socks with all those teeny tiny black rubber pellets and strings of green pieces of 'turf' would sure be a wonderful thing! Anyone else have 'turf sock' problems??? Too bad LG Sidekick doesn't include a little broom to also pick up the little pieces of turf that fall off the socks! :)

  64. Image for Dotte Dotte

Either my husbands work clothes..or my puppy dogs (3) bed things. There is always something that's left out once I start a load!

  65. Image for Desiree Desiree

Baseball season for you, football season for me! Jerseys and pants (practice AND game sets) would fit in the sidekick while the padded layers could go in the washer! Win-win!

  66. Image for Pamela McCandless Pamela McCandless

I have never had a "new" washer or Dryer! Currently using a mismatched set that is combined probably 45+ years old. Well they still work OK, the washer has to tendency to make circular holes in items. I have round holes in my mattress pad, my husbands' t-shirts, and what are now rags. Not sure what causes the issue, as things can be washed alone or together and the same sized holes appear! ODD!???

    1. Image for Charley Charley

I had this happen with my 18 year old washer. I loved it but had to say goodbye and then hello to a new one. I don't like my new one nearly as much but NO HOLES!

  67. Image for Cindy D. Cindy D.

I would wash my husband's tee shirt after every meal. Somehow, he always spills something down the front of his shirt!!!

  68. Image for Tonya Reish Tonya Reish

This would be awesome! Having kids I feel like I live in the laundry area! This would make it alot cooler for sure to say I am doing laundry! We can all dream right!

  69. Image for Katie Katie

Well, we live on a working farm, so there's ALWAYS something dirty, very dirty, in our laundry. I'm sure that little textra washer would get lots of use from us-from washing a needed work shirt, to cleaning something that got spray or other nasty stuff separately!

  70. Image for Linda in NC Linda in NC

We live on a farm that has that LOVELY red clay as dirt. Not to mention my boys (& Hubby) love to hunt, fish, and live in the outdoors. This would be awesome for the dirty gym clothes that I need to get clean from my teens too! I LOVE your laundry room and really do wish my laundry room looked that yours!

  71. Image for Susan Susan

I used to own a washer with a mini-bin, and you could wash one or two small items at a time. So glad that LG has come up with this idea. Often, you just need to wash one item.

  72. Image for Freida Limerick Freida Limerick

I would wash running shoes and dirty socks. Don't like putting them in the washer and then having to clean out the washer.

  73. Image for Adrienne Adrienne

I would love to have this washing machine because I have kids and pets and I know I would use the side kick all of the time!

  74. Image for Liz R Liz R

I feel like with small kids there is always something that gets left outside in the rain or otherwise becomes extra dirty and isn't something I want to add to the rest of the wash. This would make it so convenient.

  75. Image for Donna Marie Donna Marie

My goodness, this LG has come up with the best thing ever for washing my farmer husband's overalls. No wait my bras!!! I need it for lots of things!!!

  76. Image for Kimberly Kimberly

I love the Sidekick and know it would be perfect for (among other things) those tiny loads of delicate items.

  77. Image for Jennifer Walker Bruce Jennifer Walker Bruce

If I had an LG sidekick I would wash loads and loads of boy clothes, man clothes, almost a man clothes, woman who cleans after boy man and almost man's clothes and a front door mat that soaks elderly dog pee. Thank you for your consideration.

  78. Image for Nicole Nicole

There is not enough time in the day to write all the things I would use this little Sidekick for. I would love to list just one thing that each of my family members would use it for, but let's be honest...they just leave the laundry to Mom. Thanks for having the free giveaway, it will truly make some lucky lady/gent's day.

  79. Image for Kristi Ripley Kristi Ripley

I would completely use the LG sidekick for my son's clothes! He has severe allergies and we use a special detergent for him ..separate from the one we use. He is only 8 so his loads of clothes arent too large! This would be perfect to do his laundry while the rest of ours is going! Thank you for the opportunity! !

  80. Image for Shannon Shannon

That is the coolest washing machine I have ever seen! Would be great to separate my husbands work clothes from everything else!

  81. Image for Brenda Galiher Brenda Galiher

This is so cool.. I would use it to wash my d located which usually is not a large load and they need special attention. Your photos and laundry room are beautiful!!

  82. Image for Michelle Nettles Michelle Nettles

Such a nice giveaway!! Would love to try it out on my hubby's work clothes (restaurant business so lots of grease and tomato stains!). Thanks :)

  83. Image for Heather Guerard Heather Guerard

Very very cool! Would love this with a hockey player, a basketball player, soccer player and tiny dancer in the house!

  84. Image for Jenelle Eberly Jenelle Eberly

I would love the sidekick to wash my sons fall ball uniform and my daughters volleyball uniform, which happens to be white and doesn't go well with the dark ball uniform.

  85. Image for Debra Viola Debra Viola

I would love to win, as I have not enjoyed owning my current washer, almost since the day we bought it, years ago. We are a farming family and there are lots of us, so I spend enormous amounts of time doing laundry. To win a washer like this would be a dream come true! What a unique machine and I am certain I would look forward to attacking our mounds of dirty clothes, if I had the right equipment. Such a wonderful give away.

  86. Image for Kayley Kayley

I'd love to win it because I don't have my own washer and dryer and this would be a great way to wash individual pieces without needing to pay coins to use the laundromat's machines.

  87. Image for Kathy Kathy

Oh wow what a giveaway .... No baseball pants anymore KariAnne but not to worry .... I'm always up to my eyelashes in laundry ????

  88. Image for Tarah Tarah

I have been in love with this washing machine since I first saw it advertised. That makes me a real grownup right? If I get all fluttery in the heart when I lay eyes upon a washing machine? Pretty sure it does. Anyway - I have three boys. Two of them are kids, I married the third one. So there is a LOT of dirty laundry that comes my way and some of those items need to be washed solo, and then the washing machine needs to be washed too. So this would be perfect. Plus it's an excuse to finally get rid of the washing machine that came with the house that my husband refuses to replace since 'it still works'.

  89. Image for MaryE MaryE

That sidekick would work perfectly for my hand-washables or the lots of little batches of laundry for my ten month old twins :-)

  90. Image for Nicole Nicole

I love this for the kitchen towels with grease on them or for that one red shirt that needs washed. This is brilliant.

  91. Image for Terri Terri

I have some red kitchen towels that bleed every time I wash them! Imagine being able to wash them separately but at the same time as the rest! Wow! Brilliant concept!

  92. Image for Tracey Tracey

I would wash (daily!) all of my pet cleaning linens, towels, bed covers, etc... Love the furbabies, but they create as much laundry as my children did when they were younger!

  93. Image for Mary Mary

I would wash all the clothes of my quadruplet & 1 all in ONE load and not several loads. Thanks for the chance to win & LOVE your blogg !!!!

  94. Image for renee renee

I have a Super Cool steam mop that has the washable floor pads that get really yucky!! I won't wash them with anything else as they can get pretty gross! Thanks !!

  95. Image for Jenny Jenny

I'm always forgetting something when I do a load of laundry...this would be perfect for that and for all of those very colorful items that bleed!

  96. Image for Terra Gutowski Terra Gutowski

I would love to win this! It's ingenious! I would use it for delicates for sure! Love this and love your home!

  97. Image for Alison Liette Alison Liette

Your laundry room looks fabulous!! I would love to win the LG Sidekick because I have always wanted a second washer. I have three boys and having the sidekick would be a lifesaver!!

  98. Image for Michelle Michelle

Beautiful Laundry Room! Thanks for a fantastic giveaway. I would wash Baseball uniforms and Volleyball kneepads. Dog bedding for sure. Dirty rags too.

  99. Image for Jill Jill

I had an LG washer and dryer in my last house. They were only about 2 years old when I sold my house. I decided to leave them there and buy a new set. I bought a GE front loader washer and dryer, but the washer has been problemmatic. I wish I had kept my previous LG washer and dryer. Now is my chance to get a new set via this giveaway. I haven't won anything in ages. So I figure now it's my turn.

  100. Image for Libby Libby

Ugghh, I so need this! We were looking at these in the store last night!! We are moving to a farm, where we will do renovations and new construction - just imagine all the muddy, dirty socks and jeans and t-shirts I will be washing. And the DOG BEDDING - just that above - YES.

  101. Image for Pam Feerer Pam Feerer

I love your home and your blog. I get so much inspiration here. Are you kidding I would wash my cares away in this gem of a washer. Along with anything my big crazy family could throw at me. Soccer jersey's, workout clothes, a little apron covered in cookie icing and flour dust. I've always had used washers and dryers so this would be a dream come true.

  102. Image for Tabitha Tabitha

First I'd love to wash 2 loads at once! That would save me some time. And secondly my current washer is still a top loader. It is so load and gets off balance way too easy. It also has a locking device so I cant just open the washer a fix it, I have to hit a button and then wait for the washer to unlock the lid....

  103. Image for Melissa M. Melissa M.

I would love this machine! I have a very basic no-frills top loader that takes a long time to cycle through. It would be awesome to have the pedestal washer for workout clothes and that one shirt my daughter always needs clean for tomorrow : ) We foster cats and dogs (and have 3 of our own) and are always washing blankets and towels for them. Washing 2 loads at once would be amazing!

  104. Image for Jolyn Jolyn

This falls into the "what will they think of next" realm. REALLY? How cool is that?? And, it would be even cooler, more cool?, to win!

  105. Image for Colleen Colleen

I want a washer that works! Mine is the one that came with the house when we bought it 11 years ago. It has never spun the clothes out as well as it should so it takes two full dryer cycles to dry a load of clothes. And who wants to do that? With two young kids and a husband who is harder on clothes than the kids, there is always laundry to be done.

  106. Image for Victoria Priestas Victoria Priestas

I have two small boys and we are in the middle of having a house built... so it would be amazing to have this! Thank you so much!

  107. Image for Anita Jackson Anita Jackson

Wow, what a neat invention! I would use it for those newly purchased pieces of quilting fabrics that I worry would bleed a lot (reds and purples!)

  108. Image for Cindy Cindy

What an awesome concept! I would love to have this to pre-wash my fabric before sewing. I hate to run an entire load for a yard or two, and don't like to mix them with the regular wash, in case the colors run.

with several older dogs and a geriatric parent in the house, accidents will happen. Be great to be able to throw 1 or 2 items into a smaller washer.

The small pedestal washer would be great for when my teenage daughters just HAVE to have a certain item washed to complete an outfit.

I would love this side kick washer for washing my delicates like bras and panties. Awesome idea as I only have a shallow well and this August our well is almost out of water so we have to conserve every drop of water. Please I hope I win! Thanks for the chance.

Your laundry room is wonderful! I get a little green with envy every time I see it. One day I'll have a real laundry room like you when I grow up. :) With a hard working husband and two kids still at home, there is always something that needs to be added to the wash after it's started. This is probably the next best thing to having some kind of automatic folding machine (which I'm still hopeful will be invented in my lifetime!).

You have a lovely home and are a true inspiration! I love reading about your life in the country. I think I would actually enjoy doing the laundry in a beautiful space like this! ~Sigh~ We got my hubs sweet Grandmama's old washer & dryer when she moved into Assisted Living over 16 years ago. Thanks for this Giveaway! I wish I had a SideKick years ago to wash stuffed animals. ;-P Now, I would love to use the SideKick to wash my son's Cross Country clothing!

Beautiful! I'd love one because I have never ending laundry between a husband, two cats and a dog!

  115. Image for Cindy Jones Cindy Jones

The sidekick would be perfect for just the two of us, but when all the kids & their kids come home there are 19 of us. Then we need to big front loader multiple times a day.

We will be in sweater weather before long and those require extra care in the wash. Thank you for the opportunity!

Wow!!! Who would have thought it. I would love to have one. Loving your laundry room. And your many adventures. I too have had many a (pink) catastrophe. Lol

Our washer literally started smoking this week. I'd wash everything! Ha! I think this will be great for those outfits and blankets my daughter can't live without. :)

I would use the Sidekick to wash my Boxer's bed, blanket, etc. He has degenerative myelopathy and cannot walk without help, therefore his things need laundering more frequently, thus I wouldn't have to run the regular washer so frequently.

I'd love to own an LG sidekick because it'd be an awesome upgrade from our current washer. It'd also make my laundry experience a lot more enjoyable!

I would love to own a LG Sidekick because my family needs a great washer!!! Ours broke a few months ago and we've been having to go to our families or even laundry mats to do our laundry these days. it's rough!

With a second grader, a first grader, and a soon to be one year old, there are plenty of little clothes that could go through the wash.

  124. Image for Rachel Morrison Rachel Morrison

Just stop with the perfect laundry room okay? It's a dream! My 25 year old washing machine and dryer are just about shot. Would love to upgrade to the LG!

With 3 young kids, a dog and an outdoor lifestyle I might be able to switch to doing laundry every OTHER day with an LG Sidekick! :)

  126. Image for Samantha Samantha

You have such a beautiful laundry room, so bright and cheery, I'd love to do laundry in there. I would use the sidekick for my husbands workout clothes and the kids sports clothes, I like to wash them straight away but never have a full load.

  127. Image for tammigirl tammigirl

The truth is weird - but it would be the Norwex cloths I just bought, for one. I'd love to keep them separate and I was wondering to myself how I was going to accomplish it since my washer wont do a very small load. I'd never heard of this before - perfect solution! Plus, we became grandparents less than two weeks ago - I bet it would be great for baby clothes. :)

There are maybe three items in my closet that aren't black, so it would be amazing to have a more efficient way to wash the lights. I just added a Sidekick to my wishlist.

Wow! I love my LG dryer. It really needs this washer to sit beside it! I'd be washing my grandson's little boy clothes....have no idea where all his dirt is from

  131. Image for Steve Weber Steve Weber

Our current setup is old and needs some repairs and probably some parts.. I'm the one that really needs this!

:-O No way! Where was this when my kids were young and at home? However I could still use this...I'd wash those blue jeans that I need to wear out and they just happen to be dirty but there aren't any others to wash with them! How perfect it would be! Why didn't anyone ever think of this before? ha. Love your pretty laundry room. hugs, Cecilia

Oooooh! I would love to win this!!! I am forever trying to figure out how to wash that one item that's yucky or delicate, what have you!!!! LG makes such great products. This would be SUCH a luxury!

  137. Image for Sheila Fraley Sheila Fraley

Beautiful washer/dryer combo! I'd use the sidekick for any small load of whatever! Your laundryroom... so bright and clean! It's beautiful! KariAnne, I'm hoping for some clarification? Having read your last paragraph, (explaining LG's current promo), my understanding was that the Sidekick is the "free upgrade" of the washer pedestal... with the PURCHASE of the LG washer, dryer and both pedestals? But, when I read the "Terms and Conditions" portion of giveaway, it looks as though the Sidekick pedestal would be free, without having to first purchase the washer, the dryer and both pedestals? If the Sidekick is a giveaway without purchase, do you have any knowledge of whether it would fit underneath most standard wash machines? The entire system looks awesome, and will be at the top of my list when I'm in the market for a new set up! Thank you for introducing it to us. ✨?✨

I would love to win this because my old washer is doing weird things lately and I'm afraid I need a new one!

The LG Sidekick would be perfect for those days when my thrifty trips yield just one blouse or pair of jeans. I hate running my regular machine for just one item, but I’m also a firm believer in washing an item as soon as I bring it home. Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  141. Image for Erica Ziak Erica Ziak

I'm pregnant with my forth child, and if this baby is any like the others were, there's gonna be a lot of reflux. The sidekick would help so much to wash all those spit up on clothes and blankets without having to lug a whole load of clothes down to the basement!

  142. Image for Brenda Guardado Brenda Guardado

My biggest fear is not having clean clothes. I know LG is trusted by many and I feel ready to take that leap of faith!

  143. Image for Livivua Livivua

I would love to have the side kick just to help me out as my sidekick because presently i do not have one for laundry. It is just me doing it for a family of 4

  144. Image for Kristin Bell Kristin Bell

Such a brilliant idea! The sidekick would be a blessing when washing my son's marching band summer uniform after Friday night football games before Saturday morning competitions.

  145. Image for Rowena Philbeck Rowena Philbeck

How cool!! I would wash everything but the kitchen sink! LOL..well not really just lots of clothes and bedding of course!! I have an old used washer now and still plugging along. Bless to have it as going to the laundry mat isn't fun!

  146. Image for Jeni Jeni

Wow, amazing what LG is doing to make life easier and greener! With a husband who gets dirty at work and then comes home and gets even dirtier doing yard and garage work this LG sidekick would be perfect for that too dirty outfit that can't be washed with anything else. Love your bright and cheery laundry room too!

  147. Image for Lauren Lauren

Cool! This would work great for my family! With 2 dogs and an 8 month old it seems like I am always doing laundry!
