If you are stopping by from Simplify? I’m so happy you are here! Welcome to my little corner of the internet.  Looking for budget blue and white pillow covers? No worries! I got you. I have tons of affordable options that can update a room in minutes.

When I rented my first house in college, I stayed awake nights decorating it in my head.

I should have been concentrating on Physics or Latin or World Civilization or how to reimagine Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales in the twentieth century.

But I wasn’t.

I spent every waking hour designing rooms instead.

You could buy a few cups of coffee now with my entire decorating budget, but I made it work.  I shopped yard sales and bought these random sheets and stapled them to the purple couch that came with the house and sewed giant pillows to cover all the other rented furniture in the house.

Somehow those pillows made everything seem like home.

If you are looking for a little refresh for your living room or family room or office or study or rented room with a purple couch….

….I have all the super affordable blue and white pillow covers for you.

Look at all these cuties.

And we are just getting started.

I tried to put together blue and white pillow covers from different retailers with different styles and patterns and price points.

So I can confidently say that I think there’s a blue and white pillow cover for everyone here.

Truth?

I have enough pillows to outfit a small country in comfort, but in the middle of my pillow research? I managed to find a few more that I needed and they hopped into my cart.

That’s the thing about pillow covers.

They have a way of working their way into your heart.

Here are some of my favorites.

|| blue and white thistle pillow || diamond embroidered pillow ||

I started with these because look closely at the one on the left.

It’s THISTLES.

The only thing that’s cuter than a blue and white pillow? A blue and white pillow with thistles.

And the pillow on the left? Look closely—it’s embroidered with diamonds. I’ve ordered cousins of this pillow before and the quality is amazing for the price.

I love these blue and white pillow covers because of the bold pattern.

There’s just something about a graphic pop of blue that makes me happy.

Maybe because it makes such a statement.

|| embroidered flower pillow || embroidered circle pillow ||

The pillow on the left is a new arrival at Target.

It’s a block print floral that’s so pretty.

Also, I love the graphic circle pattern of the embroidered circle pillow.

|| tufted navy pillow || navy and white polka dot pillow ||

I think it’s important when you are planning out your pillow collection to remember to add a solid.

Especially if the solid is tufted with tassels.

And layer it in with a polka-dotted pillow like this.

|| embroidered graphic pattern pillow || striped pillow with tassels ||

And here are a few more blue and white cuties.

Like this embroidered graphic pattern pillow.

And this striped pillow with tassels.

|| floral embroidered pillow || blue and white embroidered pillow ||

I’ve shared this blue and white floral embroidered pillow before.

But it’s worth the repeat.

And I love this blue and white embroidered pillow, too.

After I put together all the square blue and white pillows, I realized that there was a whole other pillow world that wasn’t square.

Cute blue and white pillows come in all shapes and sizes.

So I added this last section of 12″ x 20″ pillows.

So there you have it.

All you need to make a room a little cuter this spring.

Blue and white and pom poms and stripes and flowers and tufting and tassels.

Guess what? You and your pillows got this.

Happy decorating. 🙂

A good portion of my already humongous pillow collection is blue and white. I was even lucky enough to find a blue willow print cover! Side note: my childhood tea set was blue willow and as an adult, I collected enough blue willow to serve banquets. Now, I'm looking for more ethnic pieces like ikat print (you've got one shown above) or a mud cloth print or possibly Japanese indigo prints. The fun is in the hunting...

My friends and I have followed you for years and we have loved your stye and your storytelling. We recently were discussing some of our favorite blogs and yours was on the list. However, we also vented some frustration that your blog has become hyper-focused on blue/white. Might you be able to show us some things that aren't blue/white? Blue is definitely the hot trend right now but we don't all decorate blue! No "mean" intended here...just a request?

Mary, I totally get it! Although I'm not sure that blue and white is truly a trend? Right now the design trends are all leaning towards earthy, moody colors. I just decorate from the heart--on this blog I just show things that I love and right now I'm all about blue and white. I'm actually changing up the office to blue and white from neutral because it makes me happy! That being said---I will try and be respectful that not everyone is as all about blue and white as me. :) Point taken and thanks for sharing! Happy day! KariAnne

Just Love you Ms. KariAnne!!! Love Love Love!!! coming to you from the Low Country, SC! I wasn't much of a blue/white girl or maybe I didn't know that I was going to be when we moved down here 7 years ago. Then it swept over me like sweet breezes and I love it...refreshing, coastal. About a year ago I decided to spiff up my blue/white that I have come to love so much and last year I added "spring green" vases, glass pieces (some beautiful pieces from Perigold and Houzz), hydrangeas of light green and cream in my large blue ginger jars, glass beads, book covers and tassel couch pillows from wherever. LOL Green is so fresh, and represents renewal (I just made that up but feel it with spring...lol) and adds so much to my beautiful blue and white home. I know that others have commented on your blue and white. This might be a wonderful suggestion my dear friend. AND.....I now have that beautiful pink floral arrangement in the light blue vase that you suggested....in my house and I LOVE bringing in some pink (actually my favorite color....can you believe it after I have been going on and on about my new blue/white love). Lol.
