I have an entire collection of wood Christmas Trees. I actually just bought a new one at Target this year from the Studio McGee collection.

Very cute! I'm really enjoying my autumnal decorating now (except for the pumpkin on my porch which has developed black spots, ewww) but I can file these ideas away for later this month.

So many ideas, my head is swimming. Don't know where to start. I just got some wood and I hope to copy the heart your brother made for you. I have a "thing" for hearts and want one for my home. I also love the two green trees on the footed tray. Please tell me where you bought them. I have a permanent display of houses, a church, etc. and the green trees would be a perfect addition. Thank you.

My daughters and I have been discussing decorating for Christmas early this year at all of our homes. I never start decorating until after black friday..but this year feels so different for me. Are we all in need of some spirit that has been missing in our life lately? Are we in search of some guiding lights, glitter filled hearts and candle lit warmth? I am not sure but I am not going to let the inspiration pass me by. I am starting my decorating this weekend, and making stuff is on my "want to do list". Thank you for some great ideas.
