You know how much I love a Hallmark movie.
Like the one about the girl who gets a job as Santa Claus and falls in love with the head of the menswear department at the store where she works, but he has absolutely no idea that she’s playing Santa, and he keeps going to Santa (who is really the girl dressed up) and asking for relationship advice.
Confused? Oh, good….me, too.
And I can’t decide which is more random…that no one in the entire movie questions the girl’s obviously fake Santa voice….
… or the fact that the guy in the movie keeps asking Santa Claus for dating tips.
My friends know how much I love a Hallmark movie, and one of them designed this Hallmark movie-watching kit for me. It’s so cute. There are Bingo cards and popcorn and hot cocoa and everything you need to make watching a Hallmark movie an event.
Her name is Barbara, and she’s one of those friends who think of everything.
She has a house that looks like it stepped out of the pages of a Dickens storybook, and she’s funny and clever and creative and the best cook and the best listener.
And the best gift giver.
I loved this so much, I asked her if I could share it with all of you, and I designed free printables in case you wanted to gift one, too.
And you can pin it for next year in case all your gifts are already under the tree.
The Hallmark Christmas movie-watching kit starts with a tin.
You probably have tons of tins around your house that would work. It could be round or square. This one happens to be square and it measures about 10″ x 10″.
I found a similar one (that’s so cute) at HEB for only $4.00.

When you open the lid, she placed a list of all of the contents right inside.
(Don’t worry—I made a printable of this, too).

Bingo Cards (I have four different printables for this)
Laminating sheets (if you want to laminate the Bingo Cards to use again)
You could adjust your own kit to add things you already have or things you want to add that aren’t on the list.
Also—one quick note—she laminated the Bingo Cards (hence the dry-erase marker).
You can take them to Office Depot or Staples and they can laminate them for you. But if you don’t have access to a laminator? You could always use these laminating sheets that make it so easy to laminate things at home. They are self-adhesive and so easy to use.

I loved watching Hallmark movies until this year when I turned off two movies because of homosexuals kissing. As a Christian, I try to guard what I watch. No, I don’t hate homosexuals, but I don’t feel right watching those movies. I do, however, love your friend’s cute gift idea. Thank you for sharing it. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

This is a great idea. I watch Hallmark, Great American Family, and Lifetime. Needless to say, our DVR is on overload. We watch and the best ones get added to our Watch list. Great American family and Lifetime had some fantastic ones this year. The great thing is they play them the next day on their streaming channel. I can tell in the first 5 minutes if I like them. I'm happy we did this. It got rid of ones I didn't like. Merry Christmas Cindy
