Wait until you see what I found at Walmart.

SERIOUSLY.

I love a store where you walk in with the express intent of buying handsoap and a towel bar and WALK OUT WITH AN ENTIRE CART OF CUTE STUFF FOR YOUR HOME.

Walmart is amazing.

I’m just saying.

You can buy brass vases for your coffee table and bandanas and yarn to make pom-poms and a spare tire for your car….

….all in one place.

I was so excited about everything that I found that I had to call my friend.

I was talking a mile a minute.

I told her about the cutest earrings I just bought and that I was currently cutting off all my jeans and fraying them and the start of football season and my adventures in the aisles of Walmart.

“Don’t you mean THE Wal-Mart?” she said. “That’s what you always call it.”

Seriously?

I was so all about Wal-Mart that I totally gave it a “THE” without even realizing it.

It’s very own “THE”.

You can buy everything else there…..

….maybe I picked it up an “extra article” over on aisle nine.

Here’s the CUTEST stuff I found on my recent trip to THE Walmart.

This set of brass terrariums.

You can use them as terrariums or you can use them as vases like I did on my coffee table. I just added a small glass vase to the center of them and added flowers.

They come in a set of three and they are all different sizes.

The large planter measures 8.8″ L x 8.8″ W x 7.2″ H. The medium planter measures 7.8″ L x 7.8″ W x 6.2″ H and the small planter measures 6.7″ L x 6.7″ W x 5.5″ H.

They end up being under $10 each and they make an INSTANT centerpiece.

I also got two of these amazing baskets for under $20 each.

They are so pretty and extra sturdy.

I love the woven pattern on the side with the twine. It looks so high end and the baskets are really over-sized for the price.

This basket measures 18.9 inch x 15.7 inch in diameter.

I saw this brass geometric piece and had to have it.

It was under $10 and it just makes the coffee table look fancy.

I paired it with the vases but it’s actually traveled around the room to the bookcases and the side table and the coffee table and it looks cute every single place.

I was looking for extra seating for the floor and found these indigo tufted floor cushions.

They are perfect for football game watching parties and any time we need a little extra seating in the family room.

I’d seen similar cushions with this tufted trim for $99 and these are UNDER $25 each.

They are really good size and come in seven colors.

You can see more about the Better Homes & Gardens Tufted Square Floor Cushion here.

I love this tiny brass lantern that I found.

It was under $10 and I have so many ideas for it.

You could use it as a vase.

You could use it to hold a mini topiary.

You could fill it with scrabble letters.

You could fill it with leaves for fall.

The possibilities are ENDLESS.

You can see more about the Better Homes & Gardens Metal & Glass Small Lantern here.

I fell in love with this pillow when I saw it in the aisles of Walmart.

It’s such a chunky knit and perfect for fall.

The woven pattern is three dimensional and looks super high end.

You can see more about the Better Homes & Gardens Sweater Knit Decorative Throw Pillow here.

I saved my favorite for last.

THIS PILLOW.

It is even cuter in real life.

There are 12 yarn flowers that give it so much personality.

It was a little bit of a splurge for me at $21 BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT. It looks like something that came from a high-end store and everyone who comes into the room comments on it.

You never know what you are going to find when you head out for a bottle of handsoap.

I’m just sayin’.

Happy shopping friends.

I wish you many joyful hours in the aisles of THE Walmart.

Girl if you get that excited over Walmart you need to check out our Big Lots! I love it! I go in there and dream ...if I only had the extra $ I'd buy this for here and that for there etc...Maybe one day! PS; It was nice seeing you again. at Becoming!

I think we must be "soul sisters" of a sort, lol! When me and my husband were still dating, he pointed out to me that I always put "THE" in front of my favorite places! Sure, we had like 4 wawa's (an East Coast convenience store, for the uninitiated) but my "going to THE wawa, would always mean the one that was 10 minutes away", or "THE bookstore" meant the Barnes and Noble an hour away, and not the closer bookstore! Anyway, just to let you know you're not alone, lol!

so funny, I mentioned last week I was going to The Walmart, and my hubs was like .... whaaat? I hardly ever shop for decor at any big box store unless it's seasonal, I do get my personal hygiene products at The Walmart, because price! But that pillow with the flowers is too dang cute.... I may have to rethink my shopping habits tho, who knew I could feed my pillow hoarding/addiction at such a great price at can-you-believe-it-The Walmart! :)

I like Wal Mart! You can’t beat the prices! Sometimes if you give yourself extra time to walk some aisles you find the neatest things! I will be watching for those pillows! Thanks for sharing!

Dear Wal-Mart, Thank you for getting with it in the decor aisle. One request - put the galvanized stuff in the CRAFT aisle with the pretty golden stuff in the DECOR aisle! LOL! I saw all of that yesterday at THE Wal=Mart in Paducah (Southside, thank you very much), and it seriously hit me - why is the galvanized stuff hidden over in the craft aisle with glue sticks, beads, and polyester flowers? Love the gold thingys, and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pillows! I missed that aisle! Have a great day, my wal-marting, decorating friend!

KariAnne, I had no idea that Walmart (with or without the THE) had home decor stuff like this. I rarely shop walmart even though there is one less than 10 minutes from me. If I shop Walmart, it's to pick up some cleaning supplies that I can't find anywhere else. I would love to know where the galvanized and gold tray came from. It is awesome.

I’m pretty sure the tray is the Magnolia line (Chip and JoAnn) that Target carries. Or at least they have very similar items. I’ve pondered those beauties several times!! Good luck!!

You are all brassy and sassy! I’ll have to look around some more over on the Fort Worth side of the Metroplex. My in-laws didn’t add “The” to Walmart, but it was always plural. “We went to Walmarts (or Krogers or Kmarts).” Maybe I’ll add an article and an s for even more fun!

In the upper midwest (I'm from Michigan), Meijer stores are a thing. They are quite similar to a Walmart experience. Early in our marriage, my husband gave me no end of grief for saying "Meijers". Originally the store was called Meijer's Thrifty Acres, so I think Meijers is a natural way to shorten it down .... but I am now very conscious of calling it Meijer (without the "s").

We call it THE Walmart, too, but for some odd reason, always add an "s" to the end; so we buy things at The Walmarts...

I recently bought a gold geometric cement looking vase w artificial succulents, a black lantern and stylish fabric bins from my Walmart. I'm there all the time!

Our Walmart here in Mississippi is waiting to sell out of their 1950's stock that hasn't sold yet. Needless to say there is no decorating or craft isles. They do have 24 check out stations in case someone writes about 1950's orange and avocado back in style, and there are anxious to be the first to buy crowds. It is nice to read about your finds, Jere

LOL-have the exact basket (use it to dry my lavender harvest)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your Walmart must be super special as we don't have any of the other items!!! Will keep an eye out for them!!!!!!!!!! Meanwhile will look at your finds!

Are you sure you were in Walmart? Don’t get me wrong, I love Walmart, but I don’t think the stores in Massachusetts have anything as cute!! I’m running to check!! xoxo

Trips like that are usually when I don’t even get a cart and then have to go back for one because I can’t juggle it all 😆. Love finding treasures ❤️ Thanks for the info....really cute stuff!!

You. Are. Hilarious. My Grandma Ruby would do the same thing, plus add an "s" at the end. So she went to The Walmarts and The K-Marts for her Big Heart crochet yarn and Tab and Sunshine cookies. I'm a Tar-jay and Big Lots girl, myself, but I appreciate the concept of going in to get TWO things and arriving back at the car with enough stuff to fill the backseat and trunk, just because you NEED this stuff to beautify your life. I'm right there with ya, sister!

Your keen eye and artful use of each of your finds look so chic in your home. Similar to what others have said, my local Walmart (Boonton, NJ - in case WM is data mining on social media) is um... in need of inspiration from your “THE Walmart”. Possibly an example of location-location-location?

Y'all should shop at the Wal-Mart across from the Wal-Mart Corporate Office in Bentonville, Arkansas! The new stuff hits there first. It's great! One of my favorite things about the Wal-Mart are those little buggies and the benches located around the store. Very user friendly for those of the 70 and over crowd!

Its very true that not all Walmarts are created equal and although I'm not disatisfied with mine, clearly yours is THE Walmart for a reason! :-) There are several things you showed in this post that I know mine does not carry or they would be in my house beginning with the very last pillow you shared and those tufted floor cushions (hello 5 kids!). Sure would be nice if they all carried the same products, wouldn't it? Oh well. I guess that's what online ordering is for....lol
