Have you ever heard a dog sneeze?

Yesterday I sat on the floor of the kitchen playing with our little yorkie when all of a sudden he shook his head.  And then he shook it again.  And twitched his nose and let out a whinny that sounded like Secretariat crossing the finish line at the Kentucky Derby.

I stared at him.

Such a big noise and production for such a little snip of a dog.

And then he did it again.

I couldn’t help it.  Right there in the middle of my kitchen floor a reared my head back and laughed and laughed and laughed.

Then he looked at me and scolded me with a tilt of his head for being rude.

And watching him scold me for laughing at him for sneezing at me….

….made me giggle all over again.

Here’s another dog enjoying fall.

And Laura’s home tour.

Be still my ironstone heart.

And I love this basket from Michael’s home tour.

He is so full of sunshine.

And every room in his house is filled with color and life and joy.

And the simplicity of this table setting from Marion’s tour?

All that blue and white against the rustic table top.

Yes, please.

But of all the tours this year.

This one was my favorite.

It took me two cups of coffee to make it through.

And every, single picture made me smile.

Thank you Courtney for being amazing.

And in random news this week:

Behind the scenes at this amazing photo shoot.

DIY wood slices made out of what?

Fun font collection.

Simple idea for a fall table.

A fall bucket list.

And I’ve been waiting for this forever and it’s almost here.  Take a sneak peek of Magnolia Market’s silos.

And one last fond farewell to the porch that looks like this.

Yep.

No more black and white.

No more curtains that I accidentally hung the pattern two different ways.

It’s got a whole new look.

You might not even recognize it.

Before and after on Monday. 🙂

Happy Random Saturday to you!

Miz karianne, please tell me.....what do you do with all the black and white pieces when you change them out? The curtains could be used as fabric for another project, but what about the seat cushions? And the rug? Can hardly wait until Monday!

Love all of the tours! And I definitely know what you mean about the dog sneezes. When my minpin does, his whole shakes and I'm almost positive all four feet come off the ground at the same time. Dogs are so entertaining, even when they aren't trying to be. Happy weekend!

You are so sweet- thank you so much for the compliments KariAnne! I absolutely loved your fall tour and the black and white has me curious... whatever you have decided on - I know it is going to look amazing- can't wait to see it!

Doggies do seem to take offense if you laugh at or mock their sneezes, don't they? I can just imagine Bonzai giving you the evil eye...hehe! Hoss and I make a game out of sneezes...I pretend to sneeze and he pretends he is interested. :) Oh, m'gosh...soooooooo much goodness in this one post! Those home tours were just jaw-droppingly gorgeous...like, I can't even imagine waking up in a home as beautiful as these...or YOURS, for that matter! I bookmarked the post about fonts from The Handmade Home...you can never have enough free fonts at your disposal and these are some really wonderful ones! I am new to the magic of Joanna and Chip, but I can't wait to see how they make over those ginormous silos...if that isn't a challenge, I dunno what is! Hope you and yours are having a most blissful and beautiful weekend, KariAnne...please give Bonzai a kiss on the sneezy little nose for me!
