Random thoughts on a Saturday morning:

1. What is it about blue and white?  I literally cannot even get enough of it.

2. The sun is shining here and the birds are chirping and I was just making animals in the window sunbeams with my toes.

Good times.

3. Has anyone else seen these signs on Instagram?  I love a wood sign and these have a twist that makes them so much cuter.  Not a sponsored link, just an it’s-so-incredible-I-have-to-share-because-I-think-everyone-should-have-it kind of link.

4. What are your thoughts on rose-gold faucets?  They are apparently a thing.  Trendy?  Here to stay?

The vinyl sheet flooring is amazing! So pretty! And I can see why you have a new favorite blog--her style is lovely. As for the rose gold fixtures .... I love rose gold jewelry, and I loved it before it was "cool", but I think it would be too trendy to use for faucets. Also, I have to think that the guys living in the household might not be fans of such a feminine look.

Rose gold faucets? Not so much. Vinyl sheet flooring is really pretty. Personally, I'm over word art. Blue and white is classic and never seems to go out of style. It's always fresh looking. Thanks for sharing.

Okay, I am very sorry to say that I just can't afford your new book, even if it includes your other design book. Things are tight across America. At half the price, maybe? As much as I love everything you do and as funny and "normal" as you are, lol. And like someone else said, not into the "words" and phrases on plaques stuff. I never was, and everyone else seems to be way over that. In fact, the whole farmhouse thing is late, dated. Color, fun, but based on traditional and "homey" are coming back. You definitely have the talent and skills, Karianne, take us there?

I was very excited about the rose gold faucets when we remodeled out kitchen and it looked very pretty in the box. But when we propped it up to see how it looked with out new countertops and painted cabinets, it definitely DID NOT go with our colors :( I think its a beautiful color though!

I think Rose-Gold is definitely a trend that will go as quick as it came. I was blown away by that vinyl flooring it really is amazing! I have a friend who is building a house on the water and her builder talked them out of hardwoods because of pets, sand, etc. Instead, they opted for luxury vinyl wood-like flooring. I cant wait to see what they look like installed but he promised them they will be beautiful and he uses them in lots of beach houses.

Oscars - not enough Mary Queen of Scots nominees!!! And waaaay too much of The Favourite - not a fan of that one at all and it is nominated for so much. No offense to anyone - but not a great film or message. Enjoyed your Keeping this week, thank you.

Hi Karianne, love the post! Can’t stand rose gold, huge fan of blue and white. I pre-ordered your book from your blog site but when I tried to sign up for the FB thing, it ask Ed me for a confirmation number that I didn’t get when I purchased the book, yikes! What do I do??? Please let me know so I can sign up! 😁. Now I’m going to look up all the goodies you highlighted in this post. Fun stuff! Enjoy your Sunday tomorrow! Shelia P.

I love all of the ideas and I've preordered the book. I share your love of blue and white. Your house is a fantasy for me. I'm almost 50 and really just starting to get into decorating my own house (used to decorate my B&B). I'm looking at all of your content for inspiration, so keep the good stuff coming. Rose gold faucet, I think no. It's seems trendy and maybe a trend that won't last as long as you will want to use your bathroom.
