I woke up this morning on the first day of September with the sun shining and the lawn mowers mowing and the birds chirping and the coffee hot.
And my heart literally jumped for joy.
Today is a gift.
Every hour. Every minute. Every second.
One I am so thankful for.
One I want to soak up every tiny moment of.
One I want to spend intentionally.
Today is the day for climbing mountains and reaching for the stars and living our best lives and celebrating all that is good and right in this world.
Today is my day and your day and our day.
Let’s make it the best one ever.
(total aside: I’m really not sure where all this go-getting philosophy came from so early on a Saturday morning. I just sat down at the computer and it poured out. It’s like #calmdownkarianneyourejustgoingshoeshoppingwiththetwinsandyour mom. Blame it on September.
