Random thoughts on a yard saling almost fall weekend:
1. I just realized aomething last night when I dropped the twins off somewhere for the zillionth time this week.
I’m an uber driver.
2. I literally cannot WAIT TO SHOW YOU ALL THE FALL. The fall projects. The crafts. The decorating. The parties. The pumpkins. It’s so much fun decorating this new (old) house for the first fall of our new relationship. And just for the record I went to bed last night dreaming about leaves.
3. I’m going to a wedding today. I’m so excited to dress up and attend the ceremony and the reception with the cutest pair of twinkling eyes on the planet.
4. If you are local, I wanted to invite you to a fun event in Plano, Texas at the Chick-fil-A on Tuesday night, September 25 at 6:00 pm. They invited me to host a FREE craft night. We are going to be painting the cutest fall sign on the planet.
If you think you might be interested, you can sign up here.
Did I mention it was FREE? 🙂
And now?
Let’s see what the internet has been up to this week:
How to style shelves.
Seriously.
If you want your shelves to look cute click here.
Love this book page pumpkin.
I’m making mini-versions of these for the mantel in the family room.
I think I’m going to do it without the edging so it looks a little more neutral.

This is the cutest art project.
A great take on an old favorite and it only took 10 minutes.

And have you been watching this show?
My brother loves it. I can’t decide. It’s a lot of journal writing.
One more for the road.
This wool felt pumpkin DIY.
Thanks for the pumpkin 🎃 book 📚 idea! I’m a middle school Language Arts teacher, so this would be a great way to expand my theme.
I love this Saturday feature! In regard to the mural, have you seen the one Miss Mustard Seed did in her dining room? It's to die for. https://missmustardseed.com/milk-paint-mural-tutorial/
You hit it out of the ball park with these links. I love Bu any Williams too (and her philosophy!) and that wall mural -- wow! I'm off now to whiten my towels! Have a great weekend.
Good ones today. I am also awed by and jaw dropped by the mural!!
Loved it all! I so enjoy your blog!
Oh I wish I was in Plano, TX, to join you for crafts! Good ole Chick Fil' et! Your pumpkins are dreamy! I know what you mean about feeling like an Uber driver! I take care of the niece and drive everywhere! Your decorating ideas never cease to amaze me! Blessed day.
That pumpkin book is a really nice idea - I must save some old pumpkin stems but will have to wait a while longer than you guys to get them as it's coming into Spring here in Australia where I live. I saw something similar somewhere online where the artist folded old book pages to create dresses for small dolls in this way to use as ornaments. So many ideas that you could use the same concept for!
Oh, what a fun melange today! Loved it. And thanks for the Bunny Williams link..."an interesting combination of interesting things in a space." I'm going to have to see more of her work. I didn't think my style had anything in common with anyone but I could move right into her home! I think she might find my one-bedroom apartment a little constraining, though, were we to trade.
I adore Bunny Williams...she lives (or once lived in) my beautiful State of Massachusetts!! xoxo
Your a Fuber driver. Free uber. At least that's what I call it. If you were an Uber driver you would be getting paid. 😀
