Around here it’s tradition.
Family + Christmas = Family Christmas pajamas.
Whether it’s monogrammed plaid or reindeer or snowflakes or stripes or Santa shirts…
…we all match.
And I’m not just talking about my family.
EVERYONE.
From the littlest little to the biggest big, everyone sits around on Christmas morning in matching sets with coffee and hot chocolate and wrapping paper and presents everywhere.
We open them on Christmas Eve and put them on and take the family picture and read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and put cookies out for Santa and watch to see if reindeer fly by in the sky. We talked about Christmas Eve traditions yesterday and this is one of my favorites.
What about y’all?
Are matching Christmas pajamas your thing?
If it’s your tradition (or even if you think you might want to start the tradition) I have put together some of my favorites that are still able to show up at your house on Christmas Eve. I tried to find options that would ship by Christmas Eve.
LET’S GO.
Let’s start with this set.
You know how much I love anything buffalo check.
And look at that sweet panda bear with a hat.
Hello Santa outfit. I always try to think what the entire set will look like in the photos on Christmas morning and I think that red stripe would be so cute.
It was my favorite and it comes in adult, children and infant sizes.
You can see it here.
When picking out family pajamas? I love a t-shirt instead of a button-up top.
The guys really liked this pajama style and you could wear the bottoms with another t-shirt, too, after Christmas is over. It comes in all sizes, too.
You can see it here.
Look how clever.
Papa bear and mama bear and baby bear.
You can see the entire set here.
I thought the Santa on this one was so sweet.
And it comes in all sizes with matching pants.
You can see it here.
I thought this set was so sweet and it has a PET option, too.
We always take our family Christmas photos with Buddy, but I never thought of adding an outfit for him.
You can see the entire set here.
And I thought this was a great option if your family wasn’t into pajamas.
These reindeer horns would make a cute picture, too.
I also liked:
- this made me laugh out loud
- these work for Christmas and New Year’s
- these elf pajamas
- and here’s an option close to what the twins are wearing except in a different color

What cute sets! That's so fun! I haven't done matching pajamas in a quite some time. Maybe this is the year to awaken that tradition again. Nancy
Such cute sets! I love your girls in their tartan plaid. We have not had this tradition, BUT, my husband was just saying the other day, that we should start this when our new grandbabe comes...in the spring! SO, here we go for next Christmas. Perhaps, I should buy them now!😊
Love your fun tradition and so very cute!!! xoxo

I love the matching P.J tradition, but now there is only me, myself and I and I DID get some new PJ's for Christmas but I will be in them by myself, sadly..........some of those you posted are really cute too! Mine are black bottoms and either a red or gold top! Still festive eh?!! Happy Christmas Eve, such great traditions too! Bertie
