Dining Room Table Gray Chairs

Every couple of months, I’m lucky enough to get to go to the Kirkland’s corporate offices to tour all the behind the scenes.

I love those trips.

Everyone there feels like they should live down the street from me and I get to see all the upcoming collections and pretend like I’m a home and garden reporter in my head.

On my last trip, right in the middle of almost having a come-apart over all the reclaimed wood and this new vintage reproduction light collection, I spotted something out of the corner of my eye.

I couldn’t help it.  I skipped and rushed and ran to the back wall….

….to see this.

close-up of nail heads

These nail heads.

They literally called my name from across the room.

I reached out and held their hand for just a moment and told them they were beautiful in all their nail-head glory.

They were attached to the prettiest gray chairs that looked like came straight from a farmhouse in western Europe.

I’d never seen them before.

I asked the team about them….

….they told me the most exciting news.

News almost as great as the day I discovered lip liner.

Are you ready?

Are you sitting down?

The chairs can be special ordered.

I know, right?  It’s a Special Order Program from Kirkland’s.  There are literally dozens of swatches of material to choose from.  You can select your fabric from a variety of options, order them to match your house and depending on the fabric and style….even with the special order they only cost between $79.99 and $99.99.

chair legs

You can see all the leg styles here (I love these hand-turned distressed wood legs).

And the fabric choices here and here.

And you can order them online here.

dining room chairs

You can also see an entire display and some of the chairs at your local store.

It’s such an easy and affordable way to personalize your space and make it your own.

I love so many of the options.

Seriously.

And I’m so happy I happened upon those sweet, adorable, shiny, sparkling nail heads.

I love meeting new friends. 🙂

All opinions are my own.  I formed them from the first moment I met the chairs.

Love the chairs so much. They look great in your dining room, but I think they would also look great in my more traditional home. I believe this....like with great nail heads.....is the sign of a great chair design. Here's to making new friends. Have a happy Friday and super weekend, Susie

Oh Miz karianne, I'm sitting here thinking about how much I would LOVE to be an observer in the background of one of your trips to Kirkland's ! An energetic fireball going all postal on them.....lol, and I bet they are exhausted by the time you leave! I do love those chairs, by the way. And I really could use a gob of them in my dining room.... Have a great day little one, and thanks for sharing!

The chairs look perfect in your room! U you have a good eye ?. They are lovely with the different options and a good price for custom. I have a gray nail head side chair in the living room. I think maybe it could be friends with your chairs.

I love the chairs! And you chose the perfect fabric to pick up the grey in the rug and compliment the burlap curtains!! I get all oooey and awwwey over things like that, too. I used to be embarrassed about my over-the-top enthusiasm but not anymore. What's funny is my dad commented (late in life and after moving in with my husband and me) that he had always thought my enthusiasm was fake but then he realized I was completely sincere. Thanks, Dad. LOL

If I had legs like those amazing chairs do, I could rule the world! *sigh* They truly are gorgeous and they are a perfect fit in your gorgeous dining-room! This Canadian is very happy for you and your new chairs, but very sad that she is unable to order some of her own as Kirkland's does not ship here...I guess that means I'll just have to keep coming back and ogling these wonderful photos of your chairs, yes? :)

Are they as comfortable as they are beautiful? I love the look but I know I have to sit in a chair before I will bring it home.

I absolutely love the color scheme in your dining room. The colors just dance with each other in front of my eyes. They are unexpected and I never would have thought to put them together but they just sparkle together. Thanks for telling us about this program. I love Kirklands. Sooooo, when do we know when we should choose patterned dining chairs or plain colored ones? Thant's always my problem.

Those chairs would look AWESOME in my dining room, too! I will check the website to see if they have a shop closer to the boarder I can pick then up! Here in Canada, chairs like these starts at $250... The cheap ones. Thank you, darling!! Have a great weekend!

So pretty and may I point out that, in true KariAnne style, there is a price tag or UPC tag on the leg of one of the chairs. So funny. Now, I'm going to see if they have any pretty fabric in green.

Hey KariAnne Your dining room is lovely but I want to talk about you. I met you today at Wish Upon A Quilt and you are wonderful. What great energy. I have not browsed your entire site and I hope you have the drunkard's path quilt pattern, the one with your fabric line that was hanging on the wall in the shop. Such a sweet little quilt. I am going to quit rambling on now and go check out your site. PS: Thanks for the charm pack.

Oh KariAnne! I can definitely relate to your fondness for nailheads because I love em too! But I really did like your other chairs, especially the upholstered end chairs. Didn't you say they had come from your mom? Well, anyway, never mind me, because I know that I am going to hear the same sorts of things from my cousin (who loves my mint green dining room) when I change out my chairs and wallpaper, which I am hoping to do soon. They were custom ordered (before this type of chair was easily available at places like Kirklands) and they worked well in the monochromatic room...but now I'm ready for a change. Life's too short, so I've decided to put some fun (and more modern) wallpaper in there. Btw: I like how the gray upholstery acts as an unexpected punch of color. It looks almost purplish. And I like how you've tied in the wooden leg finish of the chairs to the tabletop with your centerpiece. It makes my eye bounce back and forth. Pleasing to the eye!
