Tomorrow is December 1.
And I am going to do something I have never done before.
{gulp}
Skydiving?
Cooking pork chops?
Hula hooping and balancing an encyclopedia on my head….all while playing Silent Night on the banjo?
Ummmm…..nope.
Something much more challenging and rewarding and exciting and overwhelming than strumming five strings wearing a World Book.
(drumroll please)
I am going to post every day for the entire first 12 Days of Christmas.
Yep.
December 1-12.
Yikes!
Can you even believe it?
All Christmas….all the time.
There’s going to be Christmas decorations and a house tour and projects and stockings and ornaments and recipes and more Christmas inspiration than you can even imagine.
And the best part?
I’m not alone. I have five friends with me! I’m so excited to be 12-Day-of-Christmasing with Donna and Michael and Marianne and Whitney and Ashley!
And we are bringing presents with us….each day we are giving away hand selected (and some homemade) presents right from our homes to yours!
And to celebrate that we made it through all 12 days of Christmas….
on December 13 we are each having a linky party.
Funky Junk Interiors – Christmas Junk Decor

I think it is going to be so much fun!
I hope you’ll join all of us as we celebrate……the 12 Days of Christmas!
PS Just a total aside….did you know that if your true love bought you everything listed on the 12 Days of Christmas it would cost $107,300.00.
Mine is so much more affordable 🙂
PS Be sure and stop by my friend Kristen’s blog, the Hunted Interior and check out her fun tutorial to make this Santa plate!

You had me at $107,300! I think I'll play those numbers ... feeling lucky! 12 days! You've got enough fabulousness for 12 years of inspiration. Kelly
Will be there, sounds like fun parties. Cynthia
Sounds like fun! I will be there.
Oh- Thank you so much for doing this- I can't wait to see everyone's contribution. You can do it- I know you can...BUT I think you should do your post while cooking pork chops and hula-hooping...that would make it so much more interesting!;>) xo Diana
Great fun! Can you imagine spending that amount on anything, except possibly a house?? And what would one do with partridges, geese, etc? I love animals, but that would be a bit much!! Have you really never cooked pork chops???
I feel a song coming on... On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to meeee..... Bliss
Oh goody...now I don't have to go thru withdrawal when you don't post on the weekend!! ;)
Sounds like a fabulous party with the best hosts! I wouldn't miss it!
It sounds adorable and I love the decorating. FYI, though, the Twelve Days of Christmas actually start on December 25 when Christ was born and continue until January 6 when the Kings arrive. Retailers are the ones who have moved the celebration to November and early December . . . So we are really celebrating shopping and Santa until the 25th. I know I am in the minority that doesn't decorate until the week before Christmas and I do receive lots of comments on why my decorations stay up in until Epiphany!
I am just so darn excited! Christmas has come early!
I am so excited! I have followed Donna's blog from way back when all we had was dial-up internet.... I know this will be so much fun and just the kick in the pants I need! Your home is already looking adorable! Have a great day!
Oh fortunate we all are to see a beautiful Christmas post of yours for the next 12 days!!...Looking forward to all of the fabulous and creative ideas of this wonderful group of bloggers!!....
I can't wait! This is gonna be fun!
I can't wait to see what you have to share with us! If it's even half as beautiful as your bedroom, then we're in for quite a treat!

So much fun! I look forward to following along with all of the decorating adventures!
Sounds like fun, love the bedroom by the way!
So here I sit, reading about this fantastic 12 Days of Christmas party with all those wonderful hosts and thinking this is going to be so much fun. Then my eyes do a double-take: Thistlewood Farm - Christmas recipes???? Ok.....fess up. Have you been kidding us all along and are really a gourmet cook or have you been watching The Food Channel in secret........when your 4 angels are in school......and the dog is outside......and hubby is at work......no one to catch you! Something tells me you're more familiar with a candy thermometer than you've been letting on. I'm not going to miss one day of this!
This, my friend, is gonna be so FUN to watch! I can't imagine you coming up with even MORE unique stuff than you already have. Do they not have nighttime in your neck of the woods?! You are flat out amazing. That is all. Cya tomorrow!!
Sigh...just love your shots and interior. Our bedroom is FINALLY on the redo list for the new year. Hope I end-up with half as nice space as you have created.
Hi Karianne, It sounds like a fun time to look forward too. I cannot keep up the pace with you "spring chickens" but I'll try to be there everyday. Joyous Wishes, Linda
