Random thoughts on a sunshine-filled Saturday morning:

1. I am taking care of our latest wisdom teeth patient. Westleigh had her wisdom teeth out yesterday and around here we are all about ice cream and smoothies and jello.

The patient is on the mend and ready to take on her last semester at Baylor.

2. Have you see the latest sale over at Loft? It only happens twice a year. I was in the store yesterday and they started marking down everything right in front of me.

Dresses are only $29 and shirts are only $18.

There’s an even better selection online if you don’t have a Loft in your area.

You can see the sale here.

3. Have you seen the new season of All Creatures Great and Small?

If not, ruuuunnnnn to watch it. It’s season 5 and all the characters are reuniting. We watched the first episode and it’s SO GOOD.

You can see the trailer here.

4. It was an incredible week on the blog. We discussed:

5. I love exclamation points. Nothing more. Nothing earth-shattering about that statement. I just wanted you to know. 🙂

Oh—I love smiley faces, too.

And now?

Here are all my favorite things from around the web this week.

Spoiler alert: it was an AMAZING one.:)

Two potted heart-shaped topiaries on a wooden table. One pot features a blue and white floral design, the other has a red ribbon. A brass candle holder with two black and white candles and a small copper bowl are also on the table.

Aren’t these the cutest?

Heart topiaries that are so easy to make.

You can see the DIY here.

Close-up of a row of vintage metal lockers with a distressed, pale green surface showing signs of rust and wear. The lockers have dark handles and sit on a light-colored floor in a dimly lit room.

This piece reminds me I should be shopping Facebook Marketplace.

The best trash to treasure story.

You can see all about the piece here.

And I found this article all about Facebook Marketplace.

I loved this post.

We love all creatures too. In fact, we get the newsletter on the show and you can always watch the episode a second time again the next day. Love, love, love the show! I’ve read all the books too.

Oh, All Creatures. Delight for the soul. We also get the newsletter. Switching topics--you know that I love all the Scandinavian Home links .... but I also loved the article about the two women travelers. They would be so much fun to hang out with!

Being from England, All Creatures Is so reminiscent of home. It’s a leisurely pace of life over there and folk pay more attention to each other than accumulating stuff. I have been here since I was 23 and I’m now 77. I’m glad you enjoy the show too KariAnne!

Thanks, I enjoyed the story of your name and your father singing it to you on your wedding day. That's a very sweet memory. I have watched Creatures Great and Small it's a great show.

GREAT thistles, KA! Haven't seen All Creatures yet but will do! Hope Wes is feeling better each day. Absolutely loved the cozy house neutrals. And that apothecary piece. WOW.

I absolutely love the idea of doing the heart shaped topiaries - does anyone else find though that you can't get the same supplies at your dollar store? The one closest to me doesn't have anything I need - I can easily purchase the items off of Amazon - but at that point, I'll spend $50.00 all in to make them - and it kind of seems to miss the point of making a cute and affordable topiary! I could probably buy something at HomeGoods at that point. Anyway, they are cute!

LOVE All Creatures Great and Small! Such a great series for the whole family...though my husband is not hooked like I am. So sorry to hear about your daughter's wisdom teeth extraction. That is NO fun, but she's in the best of care by her Mama. ❤️ Thanks for the Loft tip. I'm checking it out online right after this! Love the cozy home! I follow Andrea's blog. 😊

Praying that Westleigh heals quickly! So hard to believe this is their last semester. I blinked! Love the checkmarks share. So thought provoking! Happy weekend, friend!
