Random thoughts on an almost New Year’s morning:

1.  Is it wrong if all I think about when it comes to New Year’s day are the parades?  I’m not sure when I became a paradaholic.  But. I. Can’t. Wait.

2.  Today is my anniversary.  I woke up to breakfast in bed made by the four cutest kids on the planet.

3.  I’ve started playing Words With Friends again.  They have a new version called Words With Friends 2.  I just got socked by Octad.  I’m looking at you Norma P.

4.  We are meeting my longest-time being a friend on this planet friend for dinner tonight.  We were talking about moving into the new (old) house and how we had our sweet sixteen birthday party in the living room.

And how there were boys.

And how my dad may or may not have kicked some of them out of the party.

Good times.

Happy anniversary and happy new year. Hope Christmas was great with your family. We had a good one but were all been hit with the bug. Mom's in hospital, grandbabies with high fever and me sick since christmas. Nothing but liquids for a week.. But looking forward to new year.

Just finished reading your new book - loved it! I bought copies for my two daughters-in-law. One sent me a text the day after Christmas that she was almost half way through, was loving it and had looked up your blog! I most enjoy your positive and cheerful outlook on life, that you love our Lord, and that you are always encouraging. And of course your really great décor ideas too! Happy Anniversary and Happy New Year!
