Okay.

SERIOUSLY.

I’ve been gone to LA for a week of filming and creating and celebrating and I HAVE SO MUCH TO SHARE.

Like room makeovers.

And the CUTEST DIY.

And a funny story about me, my driver’s license and I.

I’ll be posting everything this week, but for today? I have important rug news that just won’t wait. Please pull up a chair and get coffee and kick off your shoes and sit by me.

Because this rug? The one that’s been out of stock and that literally a zillion of you have e-mailed me about and I’ve sung its praises and its stain resistant amazingness and incredible price?

It’s on sale and in stock now.

At Walmart.

You can see the entire pattern and rug sizes here.

It was one of the first rug purchases I made in the new house.

I wasn’t sure about it at first.

It was kind of out of my rug comfort zone.

It looks darker navy in the pictures, but it’s actually navy mixed with a little bluer navy and a little royal.

It’s like a rug with superpowers.

The pattern goes with literally everything.

I mixed it with all different types of blues in the space.

Some of the pillows are more navy.

Some of the pillows are more royal blue.

The curtains are a true blue.

And the rug?

It brings them all together.

I ordered it in a 1o’ x 14′ for this room.

I’d looked at much more expensive rugs for the space, but this rug was $272.72 for the largest size.

I also ordered it in a runner for the kitchen at it was about $69.

An 8’x 10′ is $119.

SERIOUSLY.

I was so excited that it was in stock that I had to share.

And when I was rug shopping? I found tons more cute blue and white things for the home.

Here are a few more things that I found.

Happy shopping.

PS  I missed you.

PPS Be back later with a story. 🙂

I did it. I ordered a rug and the coffee mugs, too. I have been searching for rugs for about 6 months and so ordered a small round for the foyer to see how it looks. Thanks for the tip.

So pretty! What a great price for a rug! I just bought a blue and white lamp from the Restore for $5. So gorgeous. I'll try to send you a pic. Have a great Monday friend! Can't wait to hear about your L.A. trip! Nancy

Karianne, I’ve loved blue and white since I was a kid! Bought a flow blue plate at a garage sale and it set me on my decorating path. Now the interior design world is catching up with us! Love your style girl! Fabian

Love blue and white! OK, this is a weird place to buy household items, I admit, but last week at Aldi I saw some pretty melamine blue and white mini plates and bowls (for appetizers) as well as a serving bowl, and somehow they all jumped into my cart. Crazy how that happened.

Thanks, KariAnne!! I love this brand of rugs. I ordered the 4x6. Wow! And, while I usually order the softer blues in rugs, I'm going to walk on the wild side and order the navy. I'm psyched!!!!

I love your blog and read it everyday. This room is so beautiful- there is just one thing that doesn’t seem “KariAnne” to me. Have you ever thought about distressing your coffee table to let some of the warmth of the wood show through? Love reading about your beautiful home and family and I enjoy your sweet, kind, happy personality.

Well, on a completely different color subject, but here goes--I am looking for red (you know primary color red) for my kitchen and cannot find it anywhere! What gives? Does designers just leave out some colors for a few years? Karianne can you help with my delima?!?!?!

This is such a great rug and might end up being perfect in the upcoming update scheduled for my living room. I am going to have to wait for the new sofa to be sure. I have been rug challenged in the past and have learned a good way not to make a mistake is to buy a less expensive runner and live with it in the area for a while before committing to the giant rug! Thanks for sharing this bargain beauty!
