I can’t believe I’m saying this….

….we are starting on round two of the house decorating.

Are you surprised?

Are you rolling your eyes?

Are you sighing?

Are you thinking….I mean…isn’t she decorating the gatehouse and didn’t she just start a burlap blog and isn’t she about to travel to Alabama for a show with her stamped spoons and the entire contents of her attic?

Before and After Master Bedroom

But you see….I found this fabric….(do I really need to say anything else)….

….and the rest is history. 🙂

Just in case you missed it…..before we enter into round two….

….here’s a few before and after room makeovers from round one.

Stay tuned. 🙂

Yep! I totally get it. My husband is used to the line " You know it may not stay there or that way, or even stay." His reply: "Oh I knoooow." There is a reason we like to decorate. Very. dynamic. Very much looking forward to what you create!

Hey, if you sweet man hasn't left over this, and can see the value in doing it twice (or thrice as the case may come to be), then why not? It's food for the blog as they say. And when you find THE fabric...well you're just powerless at that point.

Good for you! We've just bought our place and are building a front gate (it's not finished completely yet) to start with, and last night husband decided we'll pull it down and re-do/re-design it all. He wondered if we were mad and I said that we're not alone - all the lovely blogs I read (yours has just proved it!!!) have plenty of people doing up and re-doing their places all the time!!! He didn't feel so guilty then! :-)

  22. Image for Donna Donna

I am living through you....since it takes so much energy to do what you do. I just love it! And, if I take away even one thing ( that I can copy from you), I feel so satisfied. Thank you for that! You give me so many ideas. You are an inspiration.

Dramatic makeovers! Love each one. What is the name of your wall paint color in the master bedroom and kitchen? Such a pretty creamy color. I enjoy your blog very much.

I have the same reddish toile wallpaper throughout the entryway/staircase/second floor landing of my house, along with coordinating paint! It was put up in such a meticulous manner that you cannot even see the seams AND even the light fixtures match up to the pattern. I keep dreaming of a day that I can redo everything but so far I don't have any idea of what would be better. :D
