Last week I sat and watched as tears dripped into my coffee.

This video reached in and took my heart and twisted it.

And so I play it for you today.

For everyone who is on a journey.

A winding road.

A climb.

A mountain that at times…..seems almost insurmountable.

Just in case you were wondering.

Just in case you forgot.

Just in case you are overwhelmed and exhausted and the steps you are walking today seem impossible.

Just in case.

Today….this day….right here….right now…..I wanted you to know.

You….my wonderful, incredible, brave, courageous friend…..

….you are an overcomer.

I saw this when it aired on GMA....it reminded me of my dearest friend Ruth...she was an "overcomer"...my inspiration, my barometer of not taking life too seriously...she lost her battle and I lost my inspiration..and now I have recognized that there are so many others in my life that inspire me...and I know there is an angel on my shoulder whispering in my ear every day...Thanks Kari...such a wonderful post and thanks for "your inspiration' every day.

Wow! I have no words to describe what I'm feeling right now as I'm drinking coffee and tears! I will be sending this post to EVERYONE I know!

I've heard the song numersous times. This is the first time I've seen the video. I, too, have tears in my coffee. This is such a strong testament to the human spirit. God is so, so good. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much. It's easy to forget just how bad it must feel to be so sick. I will call a friend today that is sick. I call - just not enough. Thanks LU

Hang in there! I took care of my mom for the past 2 years after losing my dad. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to give her so much love and attention. There were rough days, but the Lord filled me with grace so I could see her as someone who needed me, loved me, and took care of me when I needed someone. May God bless you and your mom.

Trying to type with tears welling in your eyes is not easy. Boy, you think you have insurmountable problems until you're reminded of those trying to fight for their life. Thanks so very, very much for sharing. I KNOW that if God brings you to it, He will take you through it. God bless.

My heart is over-flowing and so are my eyes. I have a story to tell also, but I won't. The Good Lord knows all of them. The most important message here is people who feel like giving up, DON'T! God bless you all.

I don't watch morning television, but am grateful that you shared this song and video. Tears came to my eyes also, just realizing how very blessed I am. Grateful also for the angels in this world who remind us how blessed we are. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my! So beautiful and inspirational! I've been a long time subscriber of yours and truly enjoy your blog. Some of the art you use speaks to me. In particular the art used at the top of this post and a piece that's in your family room. Did you DIY these or were they purchased? If purchased could you tell me from where. I noticed a couple of your sponsors: House of Belonging and Leen the Graphics Queen. Was it from one of them? Many thanks and hope you're having a great weekend! Cathy

Thank you. I needed this right now, and God used you. I have a special needs son who has put me through the wringer these last two days. I am totally alone as a parent and aged 61 (he is 13). Some days I sure do get exhausted. And look ahead at how many years of this await me. Seeing what these precious people have come through reminds me that not only are my daily events surmountable, but that God knows and is enough. He called me to it with a reason and purpose. Thanks for the reminder.

Thank you for this. Within the first 4months of this year, I lost both of my parents (4 months apart) and underwent surgery for cervical cancer. Although I am recovering emotionally fairly well, there are days when I have to force myself to get out of bed. Today was one of those days. You can't imagine how this video affected me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you truly made my day. <3

Thank you, KariAnne. This is a beautiful video. We have a very dear someone in our family who is going through a really tough time right now. We are hoping for a miracle but in case it doesn't come, we have all gained so much strength from taking this trip along with him and know that we will overcome whatever is in store for us because of how he is handling it..Judy

Thank you so much for sharing this! I never get to watch GMA because I leave too early in the morning for work. I'm typing this through tears because the timing could not have been better - a few hours ago I received correspondence that just sent me in to a tail spin - all I could see was adversity and a never ending battle - but NOW you've helped me realize what's ahead is nothing more than temporary "life stuff" and this too shall pass. It is nothing compared to what these people in the video have so heroically faught and overcome. KariAnn, thank you, I believe my guardian angel led me to your post this afternoon to help me. God Bless. Now I'm on my way to Itunes to buy this song - it's a beautiful and inspirational gift from Mandesa.

After reading the comments I'm even more sad that for some silly technology-related reason, my phone says this plug-in isn't supported. I'll try on my laptop and pc. Blessings, k

Ah, Miz karianne, I was right there with you, drinking my coffee and watching through teary eyes as it unfolded on GMA that day. What a beautiful voice used to spread the Message that we can all be overcomers with Jesus Christ at our sides. So many amazing stories by so many overcomers out there. You are precious and tender hearted, and I know God is pleased with the way you use the talents he has given you. You really are a Rock Star!

Oh Karianne, this is the BEST...Like so many others, I needed to hear this today..And I will every time I feel like I'm going down or I am overwhelmed, I will stop & listen to this...A perfect reminder that God is there...God bless you for sharing this today!!

WOW...no words. This song is beautiful!!! Have dealt with this in my family. My dear sister-in-law fought the fight for 3 years. Her courage and strength was beyond words. We lost her, but she gave it everything she had. I think of her every single day, and miss her deaply. We were best friends. This really touched me, watching her children grow up allows me to "see" her in them everyday.

Karianne... Thank you so much for sharing. I'm not feeling like such an overcomer today, but this too shall pass. This was beautiful and I share a tear with you.

Wow Kari Anne, I needed to watch that today and I will share it with my mom. What a rough summer its been, losing my brother in a hit and run motorcycle accident and a few short weeks later my moms brother passed away from cancer. It's just been a summer of horrible grief, but thru it all we have counted our blessings, and we will overcome...

oh yes, yes, yes --- this has become my favorite song since it came out. I have posted the lyrics of this song on many care pages of those who are facing challenges/life interruptions at this time including my mother who is fighting aggressive re-occuring breast cancer. Thanks for sharing this video!

Yesterday we buried my niece who would of turned 18 this Saturday. I have struggled with what to say to her friends, many of whom are not Christians. I am weeping again, something I have done since her death on September 11th following a tragic car accident. I will be finding the words to this song. I think they will be an encouragement to the teenagers who are asking why...what do I do now. As hard as it is to think, we MUST pick ourselves up, wipe our tears and continue on. She deserves no less. We will remember and eventually the tears will subside. Thank you for sharing this video. It has blessed this grieving aunt. Blessings!

Karianne~ Personally I needed to hear this today! What a wonderful thing to see first thing this morning. I'm sure it's one of those songs that will stick in my mind for a long time. Thanks so much!

KariAnne, I have tried and tried and I can NOT get the video to play. To save you time, let one of your children tell me what to do to make it play. I'm sure your youngest one could help me out. Thank you, Betty
