So today I wanted to do something a little different.

I was counting my blessings yesterday and you were at the top of the list (hello Captain Obvious) and I wanted to find a way to say thank you.

So many of you send me emails and share your favorite products with me.

And I LOVE IT.

I’ve bought so many fun things and tried things I wouldn’t have normally tried and you’ve helped me solve so many problems.

But what if we all shared?

What if we all shared one thing that we truly love that’s worked for us?

Yep.

What if we all shared our favorite products in the comments and I added them to the post and then (and here’s where the fun part comes in) what if I gave away some Amazon gift cards, too, as my way of saying thank you? But to make this work? I need your help.

Are you up for it?

Do you want to play along?

Okay—-here’s how it works.

Now truth?

I’ve never tried anything like this before so I hope that it goes as well as I have it all planned out in my head. 🙂

Here are the rules to share:

1. Share one thing that you love in the comments (it can be from anywhere, but it’s helpful if it’s on Amazon so everyone can order).

2. Please don’t share any supplements or diet aids and let’s make sure to keep it family friendly. 🙂

3. I’ll try and take some of what you share in the comments and add your favorite products to the post so it makes it easier to read for everyone.

4. I’ll leave the comment section open until 11:59 pm Sunday, May 5.

5. On Monday I’ll draw 5 names from the comments (through a random number draw) and give away FIVE $20 gift cards to Amazon.

6. Quick note: you need to be at least 18 and live in the US to enter.

Does that make sense?

Want to try?

I can’t WAIT to see what you all share.

To get us started? I’ll go first and share two of my favorite things.

// this faux boxwood //

This faux boxwood bush

I have never seen an outdoor boxwood that looks more real.

It’s side by side with my real boxwoods on the front porch and they look SO SIMILAR.

I bought one set and loved it so much that I bought another set. The individual branches twist and turn and I think that’s what gives it such a realistic appearance.

If you are going on vacation this summer or live in a place where watering is super challenging? This is the faux plant for you.

You can see the faux boxwood here.

// adjustable lightbulbs //

Adjustable lightbulbs

You know how much I am all about lightbulbs.

I recommended these dusk-to-dawn lightbulbs before and got emails from so many of you about how much you loved them.

Let’s GO.

Now?

I have a new lightbulb friend that takes all the guess out of the shade you need to buy because this lightbulb is adjustable.

Yep.

You can choose the white temperature with the click of the button on the lightbulb. You can choose 2700K Soft Whit, 3000K Bright White, 4000K Cool White, 5000K Daylight & 6500K Cool Daylight.

You can see the adjustable lightbulb here.

Dash mini maker round griddle

From Janis:
I love it for making egg McMuffins. It takes 3 min. for a completely cooked egg. The edges stay soft, the egg is perfect for a muffin, and cleaning is a breeze. After searching for years, I found this one 5 years ago. I have given many for gifts, and I rave about it to anyone who will listen. 😀

From Tracy:

My newly discovered can’t live without item is organic cold pressed castor oil. I tried it years ago and didn’t like the sticky feel of it. NOW… I learned to cut it with another oil or your favorite moisturizer. I’m stunned by the game changing fast results in just this short amount of time. Eyelashes, brows, crepey skin, skin tags, inflammation (I’m describing myself as a frog 🤣)

A one-pound cotton roll from intrinsics naturals, sealed in a partially open plastic package, displayed on a white background, with a label detailing it as 100% natural cotton.

These rechargeable lights

From Jolyn:

These rechargeable lights have a magnetic base that sticks inside your cabinets (so they are super easy to remove and recharge) and every time I open the cabinet they come on so I can see what is in there. They are LED and super bright! I got so tired of those little round lights that never stayed charged and used a ton of batteries. These are AWESOME!!

There is not a time that I use it that I don’t think how nuch I love this can opener! This cotton roll

From Susan:

This is a product that I love. It’s facial cotton. You just tear a piece off and wash your face with it like a wash cloth. It’s sterile, so you are not putting bacteria on your face. It gently exfoliates. You can flip it and split it open and use the clean insides to get four clean surfaces. My face skin miraculously improved with no other changes to my routine after I started using it.

Collage of plush headbands in blue and white, designed for skincare routines, featured on a model washing her face and two separate views of the headbands.

These headbands and wrist scrunchies

From Janet:

I love this set of headband and wristlet for when I wash my face. I used to drip water all over the sink from it running down my arms but the wristlets keep it from doing so. Try them; I think you’ll like them.
They come in a bunch of options and colors.

You can see the headband and wrist scrunchies here.

A modern floor cleaning system featuring a white mop with a flat rectangular head, four gray mop pads, and a sleek, white self-cleaning bucket with built-in wringers, branded 'bosheng'.

This mop and bucket wringer set

From Tami:

I love my mop and bucket set. I’ve used microfiber mops for years, but this one takes the cake. The bucket has grooves at the top for cleaning the mop in the “wet” side and removing excess moisture in the “dry” side. Plus it’s compact so it’s easy to carry around and fits snugly into my cleaning cupboard when not in use.

You can see mop and bucket wringer set here.

These pull-out storage bins

From Jodena:

I love this game…without further ado…
I ordered these stackable storage bins for the top of my closet from Amazon. I love them. I put my warmer sweaters in them to make closet room for spring summer blouses on coat hangers. They sit right on top of my wire shelving and you can easily pull the basket out that’s on the bottom. These would probably also be good for pantry items. I would recommend these to anyone. On sale plus another discount offered too.

You can see the pull-out storage bins here.

Rows of stemless wine glasses; most are empty while some have red wine and ice cubes. the glasses are organized in a grid on a white background.

This cute way to shade your phone in the sun

From Veronica:

I randomly happened upon this and thought it was funny. Didn’t really expect it to work, but it is amazing! I read on my phone when at the pool or beach. I forgot it on my most recent vacation and it was awful trying to read in the sunshine! Everywhere I use it, people ask me where I got it, and usually order on the spot!

PrepNaturals 50 Pack Meal Prep Containers

From Jean:

50 Pack of 25 Oz 100% BPA-free Plastic Food Storage Containers with Lids – Reusable Plastic Containers with Lids – Dishwasher Safe Lunch Containers

They’re clear plastic, reusable, economical food containers with matching lids. My husband and are are empty-nesters and I find that these see-through plastic containers are just the right size for our leftovers. They stack easily in my upper cupboard and take very little space, and they cost right around 50 cents apiece. Actually though, my favorite way to use these is to send leftovers home with guests who visit for family dinners, holidays, or any occasion when there’s food to disperse. No need for guests to worry about returning them, they’re so economical that I always say, “please keep the container!”

You can see it here.

Keri Anne, What a fun idea. My favorite thing this month: I live in an older house and the shower doesn't have a light in the ceiling. The light in the bathroom is adequate, but I wanted a light over the shower. This easy to install/rechargeable ceiling light has operated perfectly, and I ordered it in early April of this year and have only needed to charge it once. I hope this is the way you wanted us to link. Otherwise here is the name: DEEPLITE Battery Ceiling Light Motion Sensor Rechargeable Wireless Shower Light with Remote,5500K 8000mAh,Timing,7.8in Motion Activated Overhead Lighting I look forward to seeing what great things your readers have discovered. Best packing tip: Use Ziploc 2-gallon freezer bags for your clothes. Fold your clothes, putting a sheet of tissue paper anywhere there will be a fold. Slide clothing item into Ziploc bags. Squeeze out most of air, leaving a slight amount which will prevent creasing. I sometimes put more than one item in the bag. When you take clothing out of bag, bag becomes a dirty clothes collector. Cram the dirty clothes into the bag, squeeze out all the air when full. Save "clean" bags for reuse on your next trip or for packing souvenirs. (Eco option: Save "clean bags" to reuse on your next trip (tuck clean bags inside one "clean" bag for storage). Empty "dirty" bags can be saved (tuck bags inside one "dirty" bag for storage. Bring them to reuse on your next trip.)

Garden Boots - This is my first real pair of rain or garden boots and I can't say enough about them. They are inexpensive and true to size. My normal size of 8.5 fits like a dream with room for socks and equally comfortable for a grab and go without socks.

I recently started using Just For Men Mustache & Beard to tint my eyebrows as they now have a lot of gray in them. I'd been having them professional tinted but after a week, the gray hairs were peeping out again already. At $25 a pop for the professional job, I'd hope it would last longer. So, I tried the Blond color of the Just For Men Mustache & Beard. Make sure you get the one marked "Mustache & Beard" as it's for coarser hair like our eyebrows. I'm a natural redhead but at my advanced age of 70 :-) my hair has become blond. The directions say leave on for 5 minutes, but I've found that 10 min. works better to cover the gray for me. There's a wide brush in the box, but don't use it, buy a small brush that you can find in the make-up aisle at WalMart, and that will work well for your eyebrows. Follow the directions, using just a little pencil-eraser-sized dot from the two tubes of product in the box and mix it in the pan provided. This $11 kit is going to last a LONG time and I'm finding that I only need to use it about once a month. Note the instructions for allergy-testing before using. It's available at WalMart, on Amazon and probably at any drug store.

I love this idea! I ask for these things on my FB page occasionally and get the best ideas! It took me a while to figure out what would be my best kept secret, and I finally settled on a hair care product that I love. My husband LOVES long hair, so my hair is down to my waist which is way out of my comfort zone. It's also my natural color which has turned out to be brown and gray. I have natural curl, so frizz is a problem. My go-to product is Davines OI All in One Milk I spray this on my damp hair and then style as usual. I have seen such a reduction in frizz and dryness since starting to use this product. Out of some stellar hair products I've found, this is probably my favorite.

I collect and resell vintage linens. I prefer Biz over any other brand as a pre-soak stain remover. It's so satisfying to see that murky water after a long soak and the linens come out great. Just don't go heavy handed on an antique(fragile) piece-ask me how I know!

One of my favorite things is a big pretty bowl of fresh lemons. They brighten any room, are so colorful and always make me smile. A slice of lemon also makes my big glass of iced tea or a pitcher of Sangria taste and look even better. I love fresh lemon on a piece of grilled or broiled salmon and it is much better for my diet than a creamy high caloric sauce. And, did I mention how wonderful fresh lemon smells. They are an amazing organic cleaner for the microwave, chopping board, counters, etc. Lemons are relatively inexpensive and have so many great uses. I love lemons!!!

This is ono a life changing (actually skin changing) product that I have been using for years. The brand doesn’t matter, but I’m attaching the one I’ve been ordering. It’s facial cotton, and the woman who does my facials turned me on to it. You just tear a piece off and wash your face with it like a wash cloth. It’s sterile, so you are not putting bacteria on your face. It’s dirt cheap. It gently, magically lifts stuff from your pores and exfoliates. Thank you, as always, for your wonderful recommendations! A recent favorite of mine is the beautiful coffee table/reference book "What it's Like to be a Bird" by David Allen Sibley. It has gorgeous illustrations in it and is a handy reference when you see a bird in your yard you want to identify. I've learned a lot about bird habits by reading it. I am obsessed with outdoor lights - used to be only at Christmas and Halloween, but now I fill jars, punched tin containers - whatever I can. We live in the country and they really add interest hanging in trees in our tree filled yard. They must be battery operated, long strands and on a TIMER. I love these and if you follow the "boutiques" on FB you can sometimes get a great discount on them - then I load up - again. Love my Bissell wet/dry vacuum. I have the BISSELL Crosswave Pet Pro All in One Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner and Mop for Hard Floors and Area Rugs, Purple, 2306A. I have a brick floor and the multi layer mop head gets deep into the grooves. With arthritis, this is a great tool so I dont have to get on my hands and knees. Plus I dont have to vacuum the floor first to get up dust and dirt. I still clean the edges of the floor on my knees, but this tool is fantastic! Also I use it on my wood floors using Bona for Bissell.

I have extremely dry skin, and I love this product: Weleda Skin Food. I use it on my elbows, knees, and ankles, but I also put it on my face after my nighttime moisturizer. It leaves my skin so soft and you only have to use a very minimal amount. A little goes a long way!

I nominate MiracleGro Water Storing Crystals. I use them in my potted plants to keep them hydrated longer, as I live in Palm Springs. A little goes a long way and can be added throughout the year.

Hi KariAnne, We are a shoeless household, and have these in the garage to store shoes we wear regularly. We love them, as they only take up vertical space. I am thinking of ordering another one, as a "just-in-case," though our current two racks are still going strong after 10+ years of use. ;) Honey-Can-Do 3 Tier Shoe Organizer

I highly recommend Supercloth, a premium multi-surface cleaning cloth that can be used on wood, mirror and glass, appliances and electronics and stainless steel. It is made in Italy and, while a little pricey, the upfront cost is trivial when you discover that your paper towel consumption declines significantly and you no longer need all those other cleaning products you ordinarily buy like Windex, stainless steel cleaner, etc. All you have to do is soak it in hot/warm water, wring it out and you're good to go. No streaks, no residue, no lint, just a nice clean surface. I use it on all of my expensive wood furniture instead of furniture polish and on granite and marble countertops as well. I have one for the kitchen and each bath. It makes mirror and window cleaning a snap. Everyone I have recommended this product to has loved it, plus, they last forever. I recommend you purchase the two-pack at a minimum.

This is so fun! I may need to come out of retirement to afford all these great suggestions, ha. Thank you ALL for sharing. My FAVS ARE.... kur pink illuminating nail concealer and kur gel genius top coat by LONDONTOWN. I only use one coat of the pink illunination concealer and then top it with the kur gel genius. It will stay on 2 plus weeks even working in the yard and washing dishes too.I love the natural look on my nails. Regular polish remover works great. I have given this to friends and family for gifts along with this great nail file recommended by my manicurist.

I've recently purchased the Origami Kitchen Cart. It is so well made, all steel with large butcher block top. The best part is it's completely foldable for storage. The shelves lock in place and hold a lot of weight. Nothing to assemble! It comes in several colors, and I bought grey, which looks stainless. It also doubles as a small kitchen island. It is on Amazon, but I bought it at the Container Store. Available elsewhere as well.

I love this French milled lavender soap that you can get from Amazon or Whole Foods. The A La Maison brand also comes in many other delicious scents. The price is very reasonable for authentic, made in France, French milled soap.

Temu.com is the place to shop for faux flowers. The quality, selection and value is amazing. Not only are the prices low from the start but they offer a 30 day price adjustment if the price drops you get a credit. The only downside is the shipping takes 7-10 days.

I like the Rubbermaid Brilliance BPA Free Food Storage Containers with Lids. They makes prep and storage of food easier and help put a meal on the table in a snap. I like them so much, I give them as shower gifts to new brides.

Well, my favorite thing is not from Amazon. I wanted a white slipcovered sofa, but those bulky covers are hard to wash. I found that Four Seasons has several styles of sofas, mine is the Alexandra, that have pieces that come apart so that, for example, the arms get dirty you just wash the arms, or the skirt, back or cushions. I LOVE this!!!

Anyone wanting an alternative to unattractive dish drying mats or racks needs to check out the Parutta Quick Stone Drying Mat. It’s brilliant! The fact that it comes in your choice of white or grey is an added bonus!

Wow, what a fantastic idea. I ordered the LED lightbulbs that have 5 different light settings on your recommendation and hubby and I love them. Especially since we don’t agree on the soft vs cool light. I like soft lighting and he likes cool. The product I can highly recommend is the Color Wow Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer. I’ve been using for about a year now. My hair is very fine and straight and thinning as I age (ugh). I use this when I set my hair with the Velcro rollers (also purchased on Amazon) and you cannot believe the volume I get! And it lasts all day which is even better. Don’t know how it does it but it’s a miracle worker!

I love this meat masher. Use it all the time to break up hamburger meat or shred cooked chicken. Saves so much time.

I love reading all the comments! One favorite Amazon purchase of mine is the (LEONLITE 6W LED well landscape lights). You have to bury these in the ground, but you can mow over them easily. These lights will illuminate the front of your house or accent a tree in your yard.

This lipstick from HUDA is the best! I first wore it on my wedding day and have worn it ever since. It is a little more expensive but lasts ALL DAY. And the color "Muse" is perfect! I know you love your bright red lipstick, but sometimes a girl needs a lovely neutral.

Great idea Kari, and wonderful comments! One of my Amazon favorites is Patio Eden by Maad Brands Wasp Nest Decoy - 3 Pk - Eco Friendly Hanging Wasp Repellent. I was very skeptical but felt these were a more attractive option than using paper bags which I’ve heard also works. They look like real wasp nests. I use two, hanging them on either end of the house under the overhang. Wasp are territorial so if they think another colony has moved in they avoid the area. They hold up extremely well under wind and rain, but are faded by the end of fall so I replace every spring. They are under $15.00 for the 3 Pk. They work amazingly well, no wasps since the three plus years I’ve been using them. Great product!

I discovered these Wet-It! Dishwashing cloths quite a few years ago. They are washable in the dishwasher, reusable, durable and super absorbent when wet but dry quickly and don’t hold moisture like a sponge or dishrag. Made of 70% cellulose and 30% cotton. They will also tolerate being bleached. Made in Sweden. Available on Amazon.

This automatic soap dispenser is amazing. I have one in every bathroom. No mess, easy to fill, it's rechargeable and the best part...my grandkids wash their hands without being reminded! Highly recommend!

The ToteScan Intelligent QR Labels are great for keeping my seasonal decorations organized, as well as our garage and garden supplies. I found these when I was getting ready to make a cross country move and they were so handy, I can’t stop using them. I know where everything is located and in what tote it’s located in. Give them a try, you won’t regret it! Thanks Kari Ann for such a great idea, I’ve already found some things to try 😊

I absolutely love the Laundry Evangelist Laundry Soap Flakes! A little goes a long way and my laundry feels so clean and fresh. And the Oxygen Bleach is also amazing. You can purchase both online at laundryevangelist.com. Patric Richardson, owner, and founder, has also published a few books on doing laundry - helpful hints and recipes for getting out any stain.

I love my Bissel spot clean pet pro carpet cleaner . It’s lightweight so no need to carry out a big machine and works on my area rugs in my house . My dog seems to always catch the carpet instead of the floor when he makes a mess . Best investment ever. 💕

I enjoy using LivingAid K cups to make a single cup of coffee. They come in a 6 pack on Amazon. I fill the cup with my own coffee, brew my coffee & add my favorite creamer. This saves me money by not having to buy the flavored k cups.

What a great idea!!!!!! I have recently purchased Clean People washer sheets and dryer sheets. I was reluctant to try them, but I am so glad I did!!! My clothes are super clean and they are so easy to use, just throw in a sheet and add your clothes. Clean People is rated at the top of so many washing machine sheets and are made in Canada. They run many specials, I just scored 32 free sheets with my purchase of 96 with free shipping. They are so easy to use and so good for the environment, no more lugging those huge jugs which are mostly water anyway. I also have another great find. I have been in the floral industry for more than 25 years and I have been opposed to faux flowers, but I did order some tulips from Buart, the white and green tulips, they were 24.99 and totally worth it, they look amazing!!!!! Im going to order more, they are a little more than some but are so worth it!!!!

Oh this is fun! So many great things. But most recently I purchased this set of 3 baking sheets. I didn't want toxic non-stick pans so was looking for a stainless steel. I've baked vegetables and meatballs on these and they instantly wipe clean and haven't discolored at all. Still shiney new!. Best baking sheets ever!

Oh easy one for me - it is a powder foundation - long-lasting, truly covers like a liquid but is in a powder form. People don't know they need it till they try it and it is absolutely awesome. GREAT for the purse or travel or heat when a liquid foundation (which I stopped using years ago after discovering this product) isn't easy to bring along. *Highly* recommend their big bristle special application brush (sold separately) for it too - gets in the nose nooks, etc. BTW it lasts forever. It doesn't get cakey and gross and expired like liquid foundations do. IT CELEBRATION FOUNDATION by IT Cosmetics. They now sell on Amazon. Comes in 6 shades. IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination - Full-Coverage, Anti-Aging Powder Foundation - Blurs Pores, Wrinkles & Imperfections

I have a few random ones. We adopted 2 kittens last fall and I wanted a cat tree that didn't take over my living room or shed carpet everywhere, but was also a reasonable price. It seemed impossible but then I happened on the Petepela Cat Tree Tower for indoor cats (on Amazon) in "wood beige". If you have a super rambunctious, large kitty, it might not work for you, but for an average-size cat, it's great. Easy to assemble and cleans up well. Switching gears, I have problems with dry, cracked feet, and Flexitol Heel Balm has been super helpful for me. Lastly, my daughter, who is very artistic, absolutely loves Posca Paint Markers. They come in many different color combos and make fantastic gifts for anyone who enjoys creative activities.

My very favorite Amazon buy would be these shoes!!! Saucony Ride 16. I have severe osteoarthritis and when I wear these shoes I can go thru my day or my workout pain free!!! My gait is weird (apparently I never learned to walk) and these balance my foot and distribute my weight so that I'm not putting extra strain on my already damaged joints. Super light, cushy, comfy and honestly gives you a spring in your step!!

What a fantastic idea, KariAnne! It's like shopping with all your blogging bestie! 😃 My favorite is this anti aging serum on Amazon: TruSkin Vitamin C Face Serum – Anti Aging Facial Serum with Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E & More – Brightening Serum for Dark Spots, Even Skin Tone, Eye Area, Fine Lines & Wrinkles, 1 Fl Oz It's about $22 and a little goes a long way. Hi KariAnne. Amazon has the most wonderful cotton night gowns. I am allergic to synthetics so when I need or want a new night gown, Amazon is my go to! They have several beautiful choices. The last one I purchased was a white cotton eyelet, ankle length that I have just about worn out! I am in the process of searching for another one now.

I seriously love the O2COOL Deluxe Personal Necklace Fan that comes in both battery operated (I use rechargeable batteries) and USB rechargeable versions and are hands free to use and the cord is adjustable in length. They are really a lifesaver in hot weather and they even work if slipped under a shirt as the opening blows upwards under the chin. Keeps insects away too. But best of all I found I can create my own portable air conditioner in real hot weather by adding a Ziplock sandwich bag behind it, threading the necklace through holes punched through the bag with a pen, and putting a frozen water bottle in the bag!!! I have given all the nurses caring for a relative in a nursing home these fans and they loved them to stay cool as the rooms temperature are kept extra warm for the patients. In areas suffering from ultra high summer heat temperatures I feel this product could really help people with no air conditioning or who must work outdoors. The O2Cool Necklace Fan is sold on Amazon and Walmart. One version even has a stand to put ion a desk but is a little more powerful and louder.

Hi Karianne I love all your suggestions and have used or purchased many of them. My favorite very light summertime quilt set is Whale Flotilla which you can purchase on Amazon. They have beautiful prints as well as solids and is perfect for a hot summer, but you still like to have something stylish on the bed as well as something to cover yourself. Another favorite which you recommended is Lash mascara - one of the best purchases I have made.

I absolutely found the most luxurious bath scrubbies! Amazer Bath is the brand they come in a multitude of colors? They are soft to scrub with and are a larger size. I purchased this reversible quilt, which includes the shams. Mine is white with light gray toile print, and reserves to charcoal print., but it comes in several colors. I'm a fan of using white comforters, and this quilt finishes it off beautifully. You can see it on Amazon.
