I hope you’ve enjoyed this week so far.

We are spending time looking at the favorites of 2021.

I shared the top 10 DIY projects of 2021. I shared the top 10 readers’ favorite things.

And today?

Today I went through all the analytics and all the stats and all the numbers to figure out which were the top 10 readers’ favorite blog posts of 2021.

Which ones did you like the best?

Which ones got a standing ovation?

Which were the posts nominated for “most likely to succeed?”

Drum roll, please.

Here are your top 10 favorite posts from this year.

Number 10: 21 of my favorite blue and white home decor finds

Number 10 on our list was all about blue and white.

Apparently, y’all like blue and white as much as I do.

In February of this year, I posted some of my favorite finds and it is still getting pinned (and shopped).

You can see the post here.

Number 9: Simple and easy kitchen organization ideas

I need to revisit this again.

Just between us?

I had forgotten I wrote it and when I looked it up, I realized how much I changed about the kitchen. There are tons of good ideas for the kitchen in this post and I’m adding more this year, too.

You can see the post here.

Number 8: 22 DIY home projects that cost under $100

This is such a fun collection of inexpensive projects that make a BIG difference in your home.

Like this obelisk that I made from embroidery hoops.

And there are 21 more just waiting to be made.

You can see the post here.

Number 7: Simple DIY baseboards

If you are looking for a way to make your baseboards even cuter?

This is the post for you.

We took out our regular baseboards and replaced them with these.

You can see the DIY here.

Number 6: How to cover metal columns

Our metal columns were NOT CUTE.

We priced out replacing them and it was so expensive.

Instead? We covered them and now they look so much better.

Number 6 on our list is how to cover metal columns.

You can see the DIY here.

Number 5: My best linen closet organization tips (and how I fold my towels)

I wrote this post back in January with some of my best tips for my linen closet.

Y’all.

After I wrote the post, the tips kept it organized ALL YEAR.

It still looks just like this.

You can see my tips here.

Number 4: 21 of my favorite cozy home decor finds

I just started taking down my Christmas decor.

Don’t you think the space always looks a little sad after the twinkling lights are packed away?

That’s why I wrote this post back in February.

Here are 21 of my favorite cozy home decor finds.

Number 3: 7 easy closet organization ideas

This was the most popular organization of 2021.

It’s a tour of my closet and how I keep everything in its place.

You can see the post here.

Number 2: Is farmhouse decor out of style?

This post struck such a chord.

It comes in at number two and there are tons of amazing comments.

See the post and all the opinions here.

Number 1: Before and after bedroom retreat makeover

This before and after bedroom was hands down the most popular post of the year.

With this makeover, I went with color instead of neutral and I’ve never been happier.

You can see the faux wallpaper stenciled wall here.

You can see how I created art on the wall here.

You can see the source list for the room here.

And you can see the entire before and after here.

Whew.

That was a lot of projects and posts and ideas and befores and afters. 2021 was a great year.

But guess what?

2022 is going to be EVEN BETTER (starting with the most amazing project we are working on in the master bedroom).

And now?

Here are a few more favorite posts from some of my favorite people.

It's not terribly exciting, but I did reorganize my linen closet this year and I still enjoy opening the door and being able to find what I need. Little life joys! I knew the bedroom makeover was my fave and it sounds like I'm not alone.

KariAnne, Thank you! I want you to know what a bright spot reading and “ looking at” your blog is to me EVERYDAY! I have gotten and used an amazing amount of inspiration from you. I can’t imagine what a huge task blogging is, but please know every word, picture, video and tutorial is appreciated! Sometimes I find myself thinking… “What would KariAnne do?” REALLY! I’m not kidding! I am looking forward to 2022… with you!

KariAnne, I just "loved" the tall baseboards but wonder how you deal with it around built in cabinets (kitchen and baths). We have fairly high baseboard, although not as high as yours we haven't figured out how to transition from kickboard to baseboard gracefully.

It was fun to revisit your post on "upping" the cozy factor. We have not seen the sun in days, and I need some cozy in my life.

Your number 1 post for 2021 was my favorite. I loved the color you painted the room and the stenciling that looked like wallpaper, The room turned out stunning, KariAnne.
