Random thoughts on a beautiful Saturday morning:

1. I’m so excited. We are attending a black tie dinner tonight in Dallas. I haven’t seen my husband in a tux in years and when he tried it on I kind of fell in love with him all over again.

I’ll try and remember to get pictures.

2. Have you watched the series “Beckham” on Netflix? It’s really good. I didn’t know a lot about either of the Beckhams and watching their love story (and all the soccer drama) unfold was kind of amazing.

3. If you’ve noticed a few extra fall decorations this year? I have a magazine coming to take pictures of the house for fall in a couple of weeks.

I keep thinking of places to add pumpkins.

4. It was an amazing week on the blog. We talked about:

5. Have you ever read The Count of Monte Cristo before? We started listening to the audio book of it, but it is LONG. So I found a movie made from the book and we are going to watch that instead.

And now?

GREAT thistles this week, KA!! I really loved how she did the paperwhites as a gift idea. I had to read The Count of Monte Cristo in FRENCH my senior year. And yes, I read the English version at same time so I could pass that class, haha. It was challenging to be sure. Back over 20 years ago we bought the AWESOME movie with Jim Caviezel. He is one of my all-time fav actors and it was done soooo well. I have watched it dozens of times. SOOO good. My hubs loves it as much so it is one we watch together. Another one we watch over and over is Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World with Russell Crowe. Another good one, but it involves some war so not for everyone. I loved it so much. Never read the book but my hubs did. HAVE A FABULOUS TIME AT YOUR BLACK TIME AFFAIRS!!! Do hope to see pics. Have fun. ♥♥

Yes, let's head to the beautiful cabin in Norway! I love a great reading nook--the tree-as-a-bookshelf was fantastic. And I know the mushroom pillow is quirky, but so am I, and I love it.

I really enjoyed the Beckham series. I saw David Beckham play in Dallas when he was playing for the LA team. He was brilliant. He did not score every goal but he was behind every goal that LA scored (7 goals)! I did not know how horrible he was treated when he made a mistake that had him sent off in one game. I was in awe of his determination to come back and be as successful as he is has become. The series did show a really nice family.
