Random thoughts on a potentially amazing yard saling Saturday morning:

1. There are so many yard sale signs in our neighborhood. My pockets are full of optimism and $10 bills.

Here’s hoping.

I’ll keep you posted.

2. My favorite skin care, Colleen Rothschild, is having a giant site-wide sale for 25% off everything for the next two days. It’s a splurge for me (but so worth it) so I’m always on the lookout for sales like this.

You can see the sale here.

2. Has anyone tried cotton candy grapes? I love a fruit that tastes better than candy.

3. It was an amazing week on the blog. We talked about

4. I just realized that football season is four weeks away. My heart is already beating faster. We already have tickets to the Baylor games.

5. Have you heard the joke about the broken pencil?

Never mind.

It doesn’t have a point. 🙂

And now?

Let’s see all the amazing things I found for us this week.

You know how much I love painted concrete.

And I gasped when I saw this picture because it’s so beautiful.

You can see the before and after here.

Topiaries.

I love them so much.

They just add a little happy to any room.

Here’s how to take care of them so they last.

Look at this bee hive cake.

Isn’t it the cutest?

Here’s an entire post full of bee-themed ideas.

This is the prettiest summer table.

The theme? Peaches.

I love that pants set...so glad these matching tops and bottoms seem to be coming back in because they are so flattering...but I'm wondering how long the pants are. If they had to be hemmed, it would ruin the look.

If you aren't taking off more than 2-3 inches, you can hem them on the sewing machine right above the white line rather than take up the bottom as is usually done. You hide the seam along the top of the white trim. There are many pins on Pinterest and YouTube videos on how to hem jeans to keep the bottom edge. It's the same as what you'd do with these.
