Random thoughts on a sunny Saturday morning:
1. We are starting the best DIY project in our upstairs bedroom.
I found these vintage cabinets at a yard sale and we are building them into the side of the bathroom wall. The upstairs bathroom is super narrow at one point so hopefully this will give us all the extra storage.
2. In an attempt to be trendy, I bought a headband.
No.
Just no.
3. Have you seen the pink lightbulbs that are supposed to be amazing? Have you tried them yet? They are supposed to make your skin look amazing. I’ve ordered one and I’ll report back.
4. It was an amazing week on the blog. We discussed:
5. Did you know I have a 10-minute decorating idea Facebook group you can join? I wanted to invite you because I’m going to be posting all about the new book that’s coming out in September. I’ll be going live with simple ideas and sharing the book and all the tips.
You can join it for free here.
6. We’ve been shopping for the twins’ apartments for this year at college.
They are moving into their sorority compound with apartments right next to each other. I’m brainstorming with Westleigh how to move her boutique space into her bedroom so she can continue to run her business at school.
She loves it so much and she’s doing so well.
And now?
Let’s see all the amazing finds I’ve discovered for us this week.
I was looking for bathroom inspiration for our upcoming project.

where is the headboard? where are the pink lightbulbs? no links to see??
I'm so sorry! I updated everything and I was actually talking about headbands. :)
I am unable to pin your ideas. I never had a problem before, but recently it has become an issue.
Diane, I'm so sorry! I think the pin button is broken! They are looking at it and it should be fixed next week! Happy day friend! KariAnne
So many wonderful ideas this week, KariAnne! Thank you so much for sharing my pressed flower vase project! I always appreciate your weekly inspiration!
There is no headboard….she said HEADBAND 😊
Sooo I take it the headband was not the hit parade 🤣. Good to know. Lots of good read and lots of good things to come. Enjoy this day.
Hahahahaha! That was the best Jodena. Nope. I don't see headbands in my future. :)
I love the bath ideas from Courtney's blog. Especially the sink with flowers inside and the bench is really special. What is going on with pink light bulbs. That is the best idea ever, even if it isn't practical :)
It's supposed to make you look younger! LOL! I ordered one to try and I'll report back. :)
Just as pink walls are great for all skin tones.
GREAT thistles this week, KA! I have a lot of great reading ahead when life gets quieter. Thank you! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
I've been making this tea recipe for a long time with one HUGE CHANGE. I use sugar free gingerale; it's just as good and now the calories are almost zero.
I will keep looking for the headbands and pink lights, lol!! Thank you I enjoyed this and always look forward to see what you have found for us, have a wonderful weekend.
OMG I ordered those blue and white planters and they arrived today. Absolutely darling! Can’t wait to fill them😊
KariAnne, You’re so so kind to share my hydrangea pruning post! You inspire me with all that you create! Thanks so much! Janine
I want to sit next to that spectacular hutch in the home tour, eat blueberry lemon zucchini cupcakes, and drink sweet peach tea!!! xoxo
I love the navy & white area rug featured in your living room. Is it available on Amazon?
