Random thoughts on a chilly, cold, sunshiny winter morning:
1. Are you a cold-weather person or a hot-weather person? I always think I’m a cold-weather person until the cold actually shows up.
Right now I’d love to be at the beach.
2. Are you watching the football playoffs? The Cowboys are playing the 49ers this Sunday.
Let’s GO.
3. Have you seen the new trend on Instagram of applying foundation with a large brush? I tried it and it WORKS.
The foundation almost looks airbrushed.
4. It was an amazing week on the blog. We discussed:
- these organizing products that are making my life easier
- how to style thrift store finds
- this simple 10-minute decorating idea
- these closet organizing ideas you may not have thought of
5. I’m heading to Florida in a couple of weeks for a branding conference. I can’t wait to talk at a round table and stick my toes in the sand.
And now.
Without further fanfare or a ticker-tape parade, here are the things I found for all of us this week.
So many GOOD FINDS.
Let’s GO.
Sometimes you can update a room with a few tweaks.
This room is so cozy.

You know how much I love a vintage find.
This one was so sweet.
See the find and how it’s styled here.
I’ve been trying to be more mindful this year.

Are you going to have any more “What I Bought Wednesday”?
Winter is my least favorite season up here but I have to admit we had the prettiest snow storm yesterday and it looks like a storybook outside!! I just need to put on a cute hat and scarf and do one of those influencer pictures where they throw the snow in the air😂!!!
I am so proud of you for working out!!!
Got to hand it to you, the 5 mistakes is the best advice I’ve read on Instagram in a very long time. I love color, but always feel out of style. Thanks for all the other tips too, especially greenery. I’m afraid of messy plants or plastic fakes. It does bring a room to life with just one plant.
Good Saturday Morning. I would like to know if your husband built your tall shoe storage in your bedroom closet or was it purchased. If purchased, can you tell me where. Thanks and I enjoy your blog.
That house tour reminded me of your house in many aspects. It was very pretty. Pink clothing. Be still my heart. And yes, Winter sucks, I never love it but living in Ohio 66 years I've learned to tolerate it. I can't imagine living anywhere else. I've also learned to slow down and enjoy each day given to me. And spring will be popping before we know it, and I will be scatching my head saying..winter was so fast this year. Thats what happens as you get older. Time just flies. I wish for you, a slow easy going Saturday to enjoy.
Here in New Jersey, I get sick of winter pretty fast...but since my family skis, I've learned to embrace it. Having said that, summer is truly my favorite! Great list of finds this week. Enjoy your weekend! Shelley
Great links this week~ and always love what you are doing and what's grabbing your attention!!! What is your favorite exercise with your trainer?
I am so ready for spring! Love all the great inspiration this week KariAnne.
Living in Florida for almost three years has turned me into a warm-weather girl! If it's 60 degrees outside, I'm wearing jeans and a sweatshirt, and freezing it is so crazy! Thank you for sharing my winter sweater wreath, I appreciate you so much! Have a wonderful week! Blessings, Donna
I am not a winter girl. Thankfully, we have had a mild winter here in CT. :) Love your workout outfits and all of the inspiration you shared this week!
This post just brightened a dreary Michigan Winter day. Whenever I visit your blog I'm always reminded of the goodness of home Karianne.
Hope you have a wonderful time in Florida! I live in Clearwater and except for a few cold days the temperatures gave been great. Enjoy the sand, great exfoliation for the feet too😀. Don't forget the sunscreen !!♥️
Oh, there was so much yummy goodness this week, that I ate it all up!! Calorie free, heehee!!! xoxo
I really enjoy your blog! Will you elaborate on the use of a large brush for applying make-up? I missed that hint. Thank you!
